I think you are right GB (Great Britain?). There would be an uproar. But stranger things have happened. Certainly Prince Charles could do nothing, I'd join the army to fight against that clown (with all due respect).
But if a leader can come to power via democracy and turn to being a dictatorship there is nothing to say a leader cannot come to power via a subdued monarchy and somehow regain complete power.
Maybe if they could get the CIA to help them get to power like they did with Saddam... whoops. Sorry, really.
