Were God's children ever in danger of being thrown into the lake of fire at any point of time ?

Consider everything you know thus far, everything you read about God, His Sovereignty, His will, His assurances that His purposes will come to pass, EVERYTHING :)(there, see ? not yelling...)
before you answer....whether you adhere to the sovereign electing grace of God or not, do you think you were ever in danger of being hell bound ?

Note: if this ain't the right forum for these questions, mods and admins, please move it to the right one.

maybe it's because it's the right answer ? (AL did it, he copied the format).

Wouldn't this delete the question?... Brother Glen:)

Jeremiah 31:3 The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

God's chosen people were chosen before the foundation of the world. Therefore there is no possibility of any one of them being lost (John 6:39).
BUT
No one who has not repented of his sins and trusted in Christ for his salvation has any reason to suppose he is one of God's chosen people.

Agree, that....but what if this elect is of the seventh-day adventist faith who trust in Christ AND the law ?

The never ending drumbeat of false claims bangs on like a clanging gong.

We were once children of wrath. Once we were not a people. Once we had not obtained mercy.

The claim individuals were chosen in the election of Ephesians 1:4 is bogus. If individuals had been chosen, then we would always have been a people, we would have obtained mercy before being born, and we would have never been children of wrath.

But the beat goes on and on...

No. We are written into the will and thus receive our Inheritance.
Hebrews 9:15-17
Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant. For where a will is involved, the death of the one who made it must be established. For a will takes effect only at death, since it is not in force as long as the one who made it is alive.

ALL sinners, before they are actually born-again, by repenting and faith, are hell-bound! The absurd teaching of the "reformed", that the "elect" are "saved" even before they "repent and believe", is complete rubbish, and AGAINST the Teachings of the Holy Bible! The "reformed" teaching on salvation is UNBIBLICAL.

Well, we were hellbound before our conversion, there's no question about that. We were in Adam when he sinned, and we entered the world children of hell. So, were we ever in danger? Yes, of course.

But is it possible that Christ will lose any of God's elect? No.
