After reading some of the posts in the altar call thread, I was just curious as to how many people here were saved at an altar call. It doesn't matter as far as salvation is concerned, just something I was curious about.
So..Were you saved at the altar? YES or NO?
(I don't want to move the conversation from the other thread. Keep talking about altar calls there, just take the poll here if you would)

Oh, yeah My answer.
No, I was not saved at an altar call, I was at a friend's house and we had just gotten word that a friend of ours had taken his own life. When I had a moment alone, I got on my knees and asked the Lord to save me. I don't recall the words I said, but I know the commitment in my heart was real and that God recognized that.
