NIV, NLT, HCSB, NASB, NKJV (oh...only top 2....sorry, I try to use them all as I try to feel which one delivers the best passage for what message I am preaching.)

ASV and Young's Literal Translation; Amplified and KJV running a close 3rd and 4th.

Modern Language Bible aka New Berkeley Version
NASB 1977 edition

I also like the Ronald Knox translation.
I read a different version of NT every 4 to 6 months. I just finished the MLB (very good!); I am currently reading the ALT (based upon the MT). I have a Knox but its way down the list for me (because of its underlying text). Why do you like it?

Study and Reading
1. NET (on my handheld e-reader...used almost exclusively...hooray for voluminous translators notes)
2. NIV occasionally (when I have to resort to dead-tree version)

Memorizing
KJV exclusively (want all new memory stuff to match all the stuff from eons ago in Bible drill and youth group) :tongue3:

In the end it's hard to narrow it to the 2 even for study when you consider electronic on my desktop PC.

My E-Sword is pretty much always in parallel with NET, ASV, KJV with Strongs, and Young's Literal Translation.
