Why?Just use that amazing mind reading ability you possess.
Let's go to scripture and toss out the foolishness of men.

LOL, why should any Christian care? LOLLOL....
You self-admittedly do not know the meaning of "free will", (or at least how various expressions of the idea is used in discussion) i.e. "contra-causal free will", a term anyone meaningfully well versed on the topic knows, so how do you know it is a foreign concept in Scripture?
Of course I can. I do a word search of scripture and nowhere do I find contra-casual free-will. Thus, it is merely a philosophy conjured up by an irrelevant human being. You can't know that unless you know what the terms mean.
*sigh*Of course I can. I do a word search of scripture and nowhere do I find contra-casual free-will. Thus, it is merely a philosophy conjured up by an irrelevant human being.
Again, the term was likely coined by a person who didn't like God's Sovereign authority over salvation and attempted a nuanced end around to save face.*sigh*
Neither "polyamory" nor "monogomy" are words used in Scripture.....
But one must know the definition of those words to say with any reasonable credibility whether or not the Scripture has anything to say about them, and simply doing a word search isn't sufficient study. If you don't know what they mean you can neither affirm nor deny whether the Scriptures have anything to say about them (it does on both counts in case you were wondering).
It is so with "contra-causal free will". Anyone reasonably well versed on this debate knows what that means.
You are digging yourself into a hole frankly by trying to pass off willing ignorance as sanctimonious piety.
That dog won't hunt.
You may think this folksy wisdom you are trying to express serves you, but I assure you it does not. It makes you no more biblically faithful and fools no one else. It just makes you unqualified to speak on the topic credibly.
Again, your mind reading abilities truly astound.Again, the term was likely coined by a person who didn't like God's Sovereign authority over salvation and attempted a nuanced end around to save face.
No, it isn't.The Bible is simple.
I can furnish objective evidence that you and you alone (of any people we can speak intelligently of) have any degree of hatred of God's supremacy, as you have expressed it yourself.Men try to muddy it up because they hate the fact that God is Supreme and they are not.
They are not my concepts.Enjoy your contra-dicta-willian concepts.
No one has posted the contra-dictatoran free will theory of enlightenment for us to read. Since it seems to be your pet philosophy, enlighten my dull mind.Again, your mind reading abilities truly astound.
Why not simply read my mind instead of ask on a forum what the term means?
BTW, how can you simultaneously not be familiar with the meaning of a term, but also suggest you have some knowledge of its etymology and the psycho-emotional states of the person that coined the term and what they believed about salvation or whether they had any views on the topic or even acknowledged it as an issue to be debated?
Are these abilities a result of your mind-reading gifts?
No, it isn't.
Well, maybe to you it is, but the apostle Peter self-admittedly sometimes found it hard to understand.
Then again, he couldn't read minds.
I can furnish objective evidence that you and you alone (of any people we can speak intelligently of) have any degree of hatred of God's supremacy, as you have expressed it yourself.
I can further supply objective evidence that it is a comfort to everyone else polled whom we can both speak intelligently of.
They are not my concepts.
First of all there is no dictator of freewill other wise it would not be free. The term means against freewill. No one has posted the contra-dictatoran free will theory of enlightenment for us to read. Since it seems to be your pet philosophy, enlighten my dull mind.
No, the question was who wrote Eph. 1:1.....according to the text.
The answer (according to God's perfect Word) is Paul, and he didn't have a keyboard.
o.k.
There's no deception.
You repeated the often falsely stated assertion that God WROTE the Bible.
He did not, and it isn't a good view to hold.
He inspired the men who wrote it.
Eph. 1:1 STATES who wrote it.
To deny the Pauline authorship of the text is to deny the text itself.
Note: Men wrote it, God inspired the men.
That is what the text teaches.
It is demonstrably false that God wrote the Bible.
why did you need to use a synonym?A synonym for supremacy is imperium. Imperium is defined as:
supreme power or absolute dominion. It also means: the right to command or to employ the force of the state.
What bothers you about God's imperium?
Why not?why did you need to use a synonym?
how did that help the discussion? Why not?
How did it not help the discussion?how did that help the discussion?
Yes you have identified the problem. Notice the absence of scripture offeredYou are correct. I don't waste my time on philosophical distinctions that have no root in scripture.
Going to scripture is always a good ideaWhy?
Let's go to scripture and toss out the foolishness of men.
It is the wrong description of God and the OP suggests a incorrect premise. try omnipotentHow did it not help the discussion?
Imperium is defined as:It is the wrong description of God and the OP suggests a incorrect premise. try omnipotent
He is more than the supreme power but He is all power, no one else has any power
It suggest there are others with power but God has the most, God has all power, no other has power at all unless it is given by God.Imperium is defined as:
supreme power or absolute dominion. It also means: the right to command or to employ the force of the state.
Supreme power and absolute dominion...sounds like omnipotence.
What irritates you about God's imperium?
Of course, as Creator, all authority is God's, but God has given power to His creation. It suggest there are others with power but God has the most, God has all power, no other has power at all unless it is given by God.
so you agree, if one has a problem with His authority , they are in rebellionOf course, as Creator, all authority is God's, but God has given power to His creation.
In scripture we see Satan and later, humans, attempt to usurp God's authority. But God has imperium. He is Supreme.
