I fail to see the relevance of the Acts passage. To my reading, it refers to the Judgement Day. Which could be any day of the week. It doesn't have to be either the Sabbath or the Lord's Day

I read it the same way. I belie4ve the "Day of the Lord" is the day (or night, depending on where on earth one will be) is the day of Jesus' physical return.

So? You did not make that stipulation in the opening challenge. You keep moving the goalposts by embellishing your o/p

1, Nowhere and I said why - "Sunday" Is a Pagan name given to the 1st day of the week..
2. ALL is the LORD'S, both time and materials psalm 24:1
3. Yes, I am following the LORD

1 Corinthians 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

We use pagan names for all 7 days, in English.

Distraction, wheather SDA or not, I do not know and it is irrelavant to the subject matter being presented. Everyone of those quotes are verifiable from Catholic resources which are quoted in the video. I have only ever seen that video on youtube to which it is still provided there for all to see. No one is demonizing anyone but presenting historical fact verified from historical archives from within the Roman Catholic Church and it is those that aer being presented in the video.

It is the system of teachings that is demonic within the Roman Catholic Church because they lead others away from God's Word, not the people that are caught up within this church system. God has his people in every Church and is calling them out wherever they may be from following the teachings and traditions of men, to follow the pure Word of God.

As it is written the hour is coming and now is that the true worshippers will worship God in Spirit and in truth. God is a Spirit and those who worship him must worship him in Spirit and in truth *JOHN 4:23-24

May you receive God's WORD and be blessed.

We've had the same 7 days of the week for millenia, with what we call Saturday in English being the 7th, & the day we call Sunday in English being the 1st.

Mosta the early Christians were Jews, & had they not attended their synagogue or temple, they'da been labeled as heretics by the other Jews & likely killed. But they wanted to have CHRISTIAN meetings, so they started meeting on Sundays in memebrs' homes, as well as attending synagogue on Saturday. But as time passed, they wished to abandon many Jewish customs which were no longer necessary to keep them "right with God".

Now, you were shown the Scriptures stating where the apostles & other early Christians met on Sundays, as well as where Paul declared many of those things matters of conscience.

According to Justin Martyr, rthese Christians at their Sunday meetings had readings aloud from NT Scriptures, especially the Gosrels, a sermon, communal prayer, & Communion. same as in modern Sunday services.

Acts 20:7 - "And upon the first dav of the week when the disciples came together to
break bread, Paulpreached unto them, and continued his speech until midnight. "

Nope. What I share is my own bible study from Gods' word. Most is written on the fly to address each persons post section by section and scripture by scripture. You cannot cut and paste that. Of course I will cut and paste scripture rather than writing it out why not? It is God's Word and isn't that who we should be believing and following? Many do not seem to think so. Some do not know any better but for me only God's Word is true and we should believe and follow it. Weather you believe or not believe, you do not need to justify yourself before me. I do nt judge you. We all answer only to God come judgment day. Sadly it will be too late then for many at this time who had a chance to hear Gods' Word but chose to turn away from it *MATTHEW 7:22-24.

Thanks for the discussion.

Seems ya "study" the parts you wish & skip over the rest.

Hi brother numbers nice to see you again. The only trouble here brother is that there is no scripture support for this view that "SUNDAY" is "THE LORDS DAY" it is simply a man made teaching and tradition that has no basis in scripture.
Not explicitly.
Also nowhere in the word of God is the Sabbath called "the Lord's day." It is a matter of interpretation. Also, ". . . One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. . . ." -- Romans 14:5.

Yes, our Anglo-Saxon English-Druid pantheon of gods.

Today is Tuesday - Zeus Day

Well, actually, it's named after Tyr, or Tiw, the Norse god of single combat, law, & justice. our English names for the days are a combo of Norse gods' names (Thursday=Thor's day) and Roman.(Saturday=Saturn's day)
