What God did on Earth's first fourth day.

They're not days of creation in the Gap Theory. They're days of repair work on a creation billions of years old with death and sin entered in through a pre-Adamic race that was wiped out presumably in a celestial war of some kind. The Gap Theory is pagan superstition in orthodox apparel.

Genesis 1:3-31 were 6 24 hour days.

Genesis 1:3-31 were 6 24 hour days.
But not the very first six.

According to the gap theory, the first day in Genesis could have been the 1.0 x 10^24 th day of all time.

They are not days of making, they are days of shining up.

According to Genesis 1:3-31 are the first 6 days!

So is the point of your thread to establish the pre-existence of the cosmos?
I tried asking this before and was challenged on where it came up in the thread.
I agree with your point about “what is the point.”
I did find it later in another older thread here on the BB.
It is the logical extension of the subject without coming up with some new story.

The first 6 Earth days. Genesis 1;3-31.
That can't be, because the heavens AND the earth were made on the other side of the Gap in the beginning. It's just the first day of polishing it up. So it's the bazillion and first through the bazillion and 6th earth days.

...if there were a Gap, that is.

But it is. It is you who is denying Earth's first 6 days. Earth was before it had days.
Andromada Galaxy has been measured to be some 2 and a half million light years away. That was before Earth's first week.

Not me...the Gap theory.

Earth was before it had days.
Okay, define, 'day.' How is it measured? 100 words or more, please.

Andromada Galaxy has been measured to be some 2 and a half million light years away. That was before Earth's first week.
Exodus 20:11 - For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, ...

Someone else - It took two and half million years for the light from Andromeda to reach the earth.

Whom do you believe more?

I’m still trying to figure out how Adam got married before his first birthday.
I’ll think about where God made light later. :Biggrin

I, as a gap fact defender believe a 6 day creation of this present earth.

There was a gap between the first two verses of The First Booke of Moses, called Genesis.
