I have thought about it OR. A long time (couple hours) and I come to the conclusion that it's all theater. That's what most of these little left vs right battles in the media are entertainment and distractions with press coverage aplenty.
The real show is quitely going on behind closed doors in the corporate boardrooms and Bilderberg meetings where all the real decisions are made...without any media coverage.

In 1972, Brzezinski wrote that "nation-state as a fundamental unit of man's organized life has ceased to be the principal creative force: International banks and multinational corporations are acting and planning in terms that are far in advance of the political concepts of the nation-state."
The late Senator Barry Goldwater (R-AZ) was one of a very few people who understood what Brzezinski was alluding to, when he issued a clear and precise warning in his 1979 book, With No Apologies:

So, would any of this have been different if McCain and Palin were elected? No because McCain was being backed by the very same Trilateral Commission.
John McCain is being supported by several Trilateral Commission giants including: Henry Kissinger, George Schultz, Lawrence Eagleburger and Alexander Haig. All of these are ex-Secretaries of State who issued a joint endorsement of McCain early-on in his campaign.
And, unless Obama shoots both of his own feet (or…?) before the general presidential election in November, he is most likely to be the next president of the United States.
You would think that Americans would want to know who the “special interests” are that are embodied by this Trilateral Commission, and what they intend to do or not do with America. [1]

Every major crisis we face today is directly attributable to policies put forth and executed by members of this Trilateral Commission: Banking/lending/mortgage crisis, energy/gas price crisis, food/shortage/price crisis.
In addition, in the last fifteen to twenty years we have lost of millions of prime manufacturing jobs to China, India and Mexico. Our prime assets are being purchased by sovereign wealth funds and foreign investors. Our currency has all but been destroyed throughout the world.

Making even more foolish statements like this doesn't cover up for your lack of knowledge on a subject you obviously aren't prepared to debate, Matt.
Look at the facts then look at your statements. Others are and they'll probably notice that you didn't even attempt to answer any of the questions aimed at you. I'm pretty sure I know why but it may prove to be more uh, rewarding if you "splained" it in your own words for us. Scare me brother.... It scares me that the only criteria you have for president is that one be pro-life and can care less about their other abilities or knowledge about government, history, foreign interactions or law.
She could not name a supreme court decision other than Roe v Wade? And you would want her leading the nation? How can she defend the constitution if she doesn't know what is in it? Sure they can stay up late getting her to memorize enough to get by but then those principles are not working knowledge or guiding principles they are simply memorized facts since she can't apply them to our complex form of government.
Now much can be said against Obama. Some of it rightly so. But he was a constitutional law professor and graduated top of his Harvard law class. IOW, he knows something about how law and government works...

Obama doesn't need to know anything about foreign policy as he has Zbigniew Brzezinski and Richard Hass to do his thinking for him in this area. In other words we have two of the biggest "one worlders" in charge of our foreign policy. Things would be about the same under McCain/Palin except that "conservatives" would fall into line (without question) and agree with Brzezinski and Haas's idea of world domination through military conquest. They bought it hook line and sinker under Bush and now it's the democrats turn to be "neoconned" by these anti American one worlders who have taken over our government.
Same thing as we had before under the republicrats only this time it has a "left cover" to make the demopublicans think things will be different this time around. It won't be of course as we're just getting more of the same from the same people. Same ole plays from the same ole playbook.

Don't get me wrong, I love what Palin stands for .. but for some reason .. I don't feel "comfortable" quite yet with her as a Presidential candidate. I can't picture her as a President.
And it doesn't have anything to do with her being a woman either, so please nobody say that .. :thumbsup: .. it's just how I feel.

He proved that when he indicated the type of Supreme Court Justice he wanted: one who would rewrite the Constitution. Frankly I don't believe he has enough sense to hit his rear with both hands!
I suspect that 90+% of the stuff written about Governor Palin is a lie. The leftists are scared to death of her for the simple reason that she is genuine. She is not an empty suit like bho, a motor mouth like biden and a bunch of nonpatriots like all those democrats in Congress who tried to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory in Iraq.

If Obama is a constitutional lawyer how is it then he voted for the Patriot act? Being a constitutional lawyer he should know these pieces of legislation are un-constitutional. I think it would be more accurate to descibe him as an un-constitutional lawyer.

You show your state of denial, the things we cited were things we saw on the TV and not read somewhere. She was asked what periodicals she read. No answer. What supreme court decision besides roe v wade do you agree with. No answer. What legislation has your running mate introduced to congress. No answer.
You are still in denial, she lost against Obama in the last election. Why would anyone be afraid of her in the next??? If I still support Obama by the next election (and there is no guarantee I will) I hope she is his opponent. Should be a land slide from my perspective.
