What is Faith, so often I hear it defined in gibberish.

John 3:34 Tells us Christ received the Spirit in full measure.
2 Kings 2:9 Elisha prayed for a double the portion of God's Spirit that Elijah had.
Numbers 11:16-7 God took some of the Spirit of God from Moses to give unto the 70 elders that were called out to aid Moses in leading the people.
So from these examples you assume EVERYONE must have the same experience? Do you do this for every experience mentioned in the bible ?

There's nothing in the entire bible that says man cannot respond positively to the gospel. As calvinists do not know their bibles, they fail to see this. 1 corinthians 2 is talking about believers unable to understand the deeper mature wisdom that is spoken amoung the mature ( v 6 )
Wrong.
[Mat 13:19 NASB] 19 "When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil [one] comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is the one on whom seed was sown beside the road.

[Mar 4:15 NASB] 15 "These are the ones who are beside the road where the word is sown; and when they hear, immediately Satan comes and takes away the word which has been sown in them.

[Luk 8:12 NASB] 12 "Those beside the road are those who have heard; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their heart, so that they will not believe and be saved.

[Jhn 3:19-20 NASB] 19 "This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. 20 "For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.
[Jhn 6:44, 63-65 NASB] 44 "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day. ... 63 "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life. 64 "But there are some of you who do not believe." For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who it was that would betray Him. 65 And He was saying, "For this reason I have said to you, that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted him from the Father."
[Jhn 10:25-30 NASB] 25 Jesus answered them, "I told you, and you do not believe; the works that I do in My Father's name, these testify of Me. 26 "But you do not believe because you are not of My sheep. 27 "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; 28 and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. 29 "My Father, who has given [them] to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch [them] out of the Father's hand. 30 "I and the Father are one."

[2Co 4:3-4 NASB] 3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

You should be embarrassed to quote those verses as immediately in the preceding verses they refute your calvinist interpretation of your single verses . ( given with no context. )

Irrelevant non sequitur.
You boldly, but incorrectly stated that there was no scripture that said ...
So I presented multiple scriptures that state or imply what you claimed no scripture did.

Post a verse in a new topic and start a discussion if you really want answers.

One new testament verse there. No surprise .

That verse applies to people that could otherwise believe the Gospel. Not people born spiritually blind . The light of the Gospel is more powerful .
4In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Where does it imply even ' regeneration preceds faith ' , where am I to get this concept from the scriptures? Whats the best verse or verses please ?
Non sequitur.
Where did I say ANYTHING about regeneration preceding faith?
  • I said “Faith is a gift from God.”

  • I said “Faith is part of the Christian life from Justification to Glorification.”

  • I said “The Holy Spirit is active in our salvation even before our Justification.”

Which of those do you have a problem with?

So from these examples you assume EVERYONE must have the same experience? Do you do this for every experience mentioned in the bible ?

You asked why I believe what I do and to give you scriptures. I trust that you believe what you do as well. I look to God's words for understanding and the Holy Spirit to impart understanding to what I do read. I trust God to lead and guide me to the truth. I 've proved to myself that God is with me just as all that God calls should do, by examining themselves.

I trust that the Bible is God's inspired word the final authority in any discussion. I believe you do as well, but I can't know that you do. What I know is that God is faithful, that he does guide us, that it is God's will to understand what he has given us the eyes to see. I also trust that if I misunderstand something that God will lead me to the truth. God is more than able to make me aware of the truth if I err.

If you view the four Gospels as not part of the New Testament, then all I can say is ...

“God bless you and keep you.”
(We have no common frame of reference for communication.)
Hebrews 9 .
16¶For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

17For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

The ' new testament ' begins with the death of Christ , not that heading in your bible just before ' Matthew ' . You do know that right ?

I would say its down to us studying the bible. The less influence we have from man's doctrines, the closer we are to the truth. Calvinism and Arminism are man made doctrines.

I would say its down to us studying the bible.

Agree with this 100%. The Bible has a lot to tell us about faith and the importance of faith.
Hebrews 11:1 is the beginning.

Lots of examples that clearly show us that faith is expressed in actions. Hebrews 11 has such a small number of the acts of faith.

What I know about Calvinism and Arminism would easily fit in a thimble. The thimble would still have plenty of room at that.

What might be the means by which God leads us into truth and makes us aware of our err?
Can brothers and sisters, sharing God's word with you, be the means by which God corrects error?

We read who it is who authored and finished all faith of those who came before us and of our own faith.
Hebrews 12:1-2
Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

Start a topic on it and ask me there.

You don’t believe the four Gospels are the New Testament?
Only the death of Jesus begins the new testament. That heading ' NEW TESTAMENT ' is not where it begins . Thats a reference to the fact it will transition through the 27 books . Namely the death of christ , Acts 2 ect .
