If I told you how I truly feel about Preterism I would get banned. Preterism is BANNED on several forums because it's a complete denial of God's Prophetic Word. It perverts the entire book of Revelation and half the book of Daniel and thousands of scriptures. It's an outright abomination and why it's banned from several forums. It has poisoned the well.

Instead of a "complete denial of God's Prophetic Word", Preterism sees the fulfillment of God's Prophetic Word. You claim this perverts Revelation and Daniel based on nothing more than a "futurist" view. Your bias against Preterism is keeping you from an honest discussion here.

You started this thread with a simple question about the Religion of the Beast. Yet, you are unwilling to actually discuss this topic with those of us who have a different opinion.

I think we all know what you think about preterism. But perhaps you should risk banning and stand up for your beliefs and state them.

Preterism is older than futurism, slightly.

I will tell you what I think the bible says about futurism, and it is more biblical than your rants.

Futurism is a fairly recent inovation and pre tribulation rapturism is even more so.

• 1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

Preterism is a fairly new false teaching originating about 1830. You are deranged if you think 1 Timothy 4 is talking about futurist. Really deranged.

Just think. If I do get banned for my hatred of Preterism, you and every Preterist on board would no longer have a thorn in your side.

Catholicism doesn't worship the bread. And they don't call it the sun god. Yes we do put crosses on top of churches, and the cross is not a curse. That means thousands of Churches are cursed. You're listening to the people who love to demonize Catholicism.

Have you seen how they parade the montrance around in prosessions and worshipping it. Fr Charles Chiniquy calls the consecrated wafer, "le Bon Dieu, the good god." 50 years in the church of Rome .

I can remember seeing the film of Brother Ian Paisley standing in the Oxford Union and holding up a wafer and saying "This is the Catholic god".

I think that most members on here would disagree with you that the RCC is a true church. Perhaps you could start a poll on that?

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Preterist destroy eschatological discussions, and they are doing the same here. So as a blessing to all of you who are following in Satan's footsteps, I don't plan on being around very long.

Pretersim belongs in the abyss and is a teaching of the evil one. It's borderline Atheism. It bears NO truth and is precisely what Satan wants people to believe. It is an abomination.

I suspect that US baptists may display them, but I don't know.

Several Baptist churches in the Dallas / Ft Worth area have a cross either on top or prominently displayed on or around the front of the building.

If I knew then he planned to come on here so he could sneak in the Baptist Forum and spout his rhetoric agenda, I would have kept him Non-Baptist... He just didn't want to play nice... Bye!!!... You got that wrong. It was dispensationalism that came into the protestant church from the RCC in 1825-30

EB Elliott wrote a refutation of preterism and also of futurism in 1844-1846. He doesn't mention dispensationalism though as that was just beginning.
