I am saying that "the flesh of all" is all who took the mark of the beast. All who are in rebellion. I am saying that Revelation 19 is the final judgment of the world, the time when Christ comes and brings the bridegroom in Revelation 21 is immediately after.
I am telling you that the millennium is now. Satan is not allowed to bring all the nations against the church. I am saying, connect Revelation 19 (the return of Jesus) with Revelation 20 where all the deceived nations are rounded up by Satan and then Jesus returns.
The millennium is now.
Revelation is never meant to be understood linearly on an historical timeline like pre-millennialists do.
Taisto if you would read those verses in context you would find that your understanding is wrong.
Taisto you said Revelation is never meant to be understood linearly on an historical timeline but look at the time indicators language we find in these verses.
Rev 19:17
Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice,
saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, "
Come and gather together for the supper of the great God, 18 "that you may
eat the flesh of kings, the flesh
of captains, the flesh
of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the
flesh of all, free and slave, both small and great."
The birds were to eat who’s flesh?
Rev 19:19 And
I saw the beast, the
kings of the earth, and
their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.
So we see 1] the beast, 2] Kings, 3] their armies {captains, mighty men, flesh of all}
Rev 19:20
Then the
beast was captured, and
with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image.
These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Beast & false prophet thrown into LOF so they are not present
Rev 19:21 And
the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse.
And all the birds were filled with their flesh.
So what we have is the Kings & their armies that were killed as the beast and the false prophet are in the LOF
After this we see that Satan is bound and placed in a sealed pit for 1000 yrs after which time he will be released.
Rev_20:1
Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven,
Rev 20:2 He
laid hold of the dragon, ...who is
the Devil and Satan, and
bound him for a thousand years;
Rev 20:3 ...But
after these things he must be released for a little while.
While Satan is bound we see those that were beheaded for not taking the mark reigning with Christ
Rev 20:4
Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them...And
they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
But those that died in Rev 19:21 would not be raised for 1000 yrs.
Rev 20:5
But the rest of the dead
did not live again until the thousand years were finished.
Satan is to be released after the 1000 yrs and he gathers another army to surround and attack the city of Jerusalem and the saints. But God protects them with fire from heaven.
Rev 20:7
Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released...
Rev 20:10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire...will be tormented day and night
forever and ever
Rev 20:11
Then I saw a great white throne…
This logically has to come after Satan has been let out and has been defeated by Christ
Then we will see the new heaven and new earth.
Rev 21:1
Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away
The phrase “the flesh of all” found in Rev 19:18 is shown to refer to the Kings and armies that were slain by Christ. Further we see from the context that the millennium is not now but is future.
So while you may hold to your Amill view, as you can see the biblical context does not support it.
