Except for the fact that you conflate faith as a fruit and faith as a gift.
Wut?

Do the lost have ANY fruits of the Spirit? Of course not. So, if someone is exhibiting a fruit of the Spirit i.e. faith, then this shows it has came from God.

Once again, you are conflating Faith.

Faith/Believe in John 20:31 is a Verb

Faith in Galatians 5:22 is a Noun

That is even worsethen, as they are saying that they reject God as the boss, and see themselves in that role!

Do you want to get an ulcer worrying about it?... I just post and go with the flow, I'm laid back in my Calvinistic leanings... I know what I believe and don't get upset when others disagree with me... Some agree, some don't!... No biggie... I have thick skin and a short memory... Personally I think all of us should but that's just me... Brother Glen:)

Since this thread is closing, I would like to say that all who believe a person must make a decision, or choose to believe, or whatever else one must do to be saved, rests on the fact that you already believed (were saved) before you chose, or accepted, or whatever else you did. Or you wouldn't have done any of it. It would have been foolishness to you. So instead of looking at your faith as a condition you met, rejoice that you have faith, it proves Jesus died for you or you would not have it.

You proved your election byhaving that "saving kind of faith"

Sin natured humans have no saving faith within them to receive Jesus as Lord with though!
You act like "believing" is like some special power inside a person in a metaphysical sense. This speaks of a Sci-Fi movie more than it does the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

No, I am jsut saying that faith does not come from within sinners, we do not have that capability, its given to us when God regenerates us to now believe!

This is not an accurate analogy. Let's take the train to the station--Do dead people sin? Do dead people commit crimes? do dead people disobey? No, they do not. Your analogy fails.

Great response to that line Calvinists use when's the last time you saw a dead person reach out for something (or words similar) Well of course...do dead people sin, commit crimes and disobey? Yeah our dear Calvinists friends can't have it both ways here....if they're dead they're dead....if they can't reach out to receive than neither can they sin.

He’s not avering what you’re accusing him of. The very moment someone has faith, they are regenerated and are made righteous.

Pick one.

Romans 10

10for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

10for with the heart a person believes, AFTER HE IS MADE righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, AFTER salvation.
