There is a couple verses in CSB that could have and should have been different. I suspect that some of that will change in an update. But even if it doesn't, I do not write off a translation for a couple of "bad choices" if they don't effect practice or doctrine of the church.Regarding the CSB, there are many things I like about that particular Bible translation.
However, I have come across a few passages here and there that come across as rather odd or unusual.
I'm curious as to whether you've experienced this phenomenon, as well.
We can dig into any translation and find multiple verses to disagree about how they should read...even the NASB.
Overall the CSB is a great translation. I like it especially for those who are not strong readers and we use it with elementary and middle school kids with great improvement on reader comprehension when compared to the ESV and NKJV/KJV.
