I have no personal opinion on the veracity of Q or those that support the movement. I am innately distrustful of anonymous sources.
That said, what I found very disturbing in those articles was the unquestioned need to stamp out the movement using all means necessary and the unchallenged assumption that they were dangerous terrorists. Who or what has Q killed or destroyed that they are terrorists?
What I do see is another attempt to control thought and punish people for “wrong thinking”. THAT SCARES THE CRAP OUT OF ME! I oppose “hate crimes” for the same reason, because people should be held accountable for what they DO but should be free to THINK whatever they want.
Who gets to decide what thoughts and beliefs are “dangerous crimes” so that those that think them must be eradicated as “terrorists”? How long before MY THOUGHTS fall into that category?

Perhaps Sessions was trustable, until he wasn’t, like so many others.

Did you read the articles in the OP?
It is not about “legitimizing” Q. It is about using NSA technology to track down connections between shared tweets to compile a list of all QAnon members and supporters to crush this “terrorist organization”. So what happens when that same technology is employed to identify the “terrorists” of the pro-life movement that “threaten” legal abortion clinics and women’s constitutional reproductive rights?
That is why I offered the quote from Martin Niemoller. I think it needs repeating:

And the left has grasped at this will of the wisp to claim victimhood after their riots and violence against innocent passersby.
About as truthful as their attempt to label the Proud Boys as white supremacists.

Let's set aside "rhetoric" and talk Christian to Christian. Taking the items mentioned (which are an eclectic collection) in the order presented:
THE ATTACK ON THE CAPITOL:
So let's talk about what happened and what did not happen. The level of fantasy from both sides seems a bit over the top. Thousands of hyped up people marched on the Capitol and Hundreds pushed their way through the DC Police to illegally enter the building. Some were vandalizing and most were trespassing (some claim the police allowed THEM to enter, but clearly not those that entered the offices and other non-public areas.) Setting aside the rhetoric, which is not supported by the actual actions of most in attendance, the intent appears to have been to disrupt the counting of Electoral votes in an election they believed needed to be investigated for fraud.
Many like to speak of an "armed insurrection", to which I ask "where were the arms?" It was clearly the WORST armed insurrection in human history! Only one man appeared to enter the Capitol with a gun, left it in its holster and never fired a shot. If it was an insurrection, what form of government were they proposing to replace it with? It was a violent protest, and a fairly benign violent protest by 2020 violent protest standards.
Let's talk about the 5 deaths. Four were protesters and one was a Police officer.
Starting with the police officer, he was reported to have died of complications from brawling with protesters. That means the protesters that killed the only Police Officer that was killed didn't bother to bring any weapons to this "armed insurrection". They probably did commit manslaughter and should be charged with the crime that they did commit.
Two protesters died of natural causes (heart attack and stroke) outside the Capitol and never even attempted to enter it.
One protester was crushed between the protesters and police as the crowd pushed pass the line of DC Police outside the Capitol.
One unarmed protestor was shot by the police crawling through a window into the capitol Building.
Attacking the Capitol was wrong and foolish. I have never placed one iota of credence in Qanon conspiracy theories (or most other conspiracy theories), yet I agree with the protesters in so far as there are questions about this election that have been swept aside very quickly and really need better answers. I want an investigation to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Biden won the election, not merely that the fraud was not sufficiently "widespread". The previous record of about 75% voter turnout was shattered in one state with an unprecedented 90% voter turnout, yet nobody sees any reason to waste time and money verifying some of the signatures to make sure there was no fraud.
The attack on the Capitol was not an insurrection ... it was a vote of "no confidence" in the legitimacy of the election process. That is a problem that is a LOT more serious than the latest stupid thing that Donald Trump or Q-Anon said.

I am not a Q-Anon advocate, but you asked for my opinion, so: NEVER.
The flaw is the assumption of both sides that someone is in charge and that "the people" are going to do something. Reality check: "The People" are going to work, and cashing their check and grocery shopping and picking up their kids from school. Those that aren't doing "life" are getting drunk and talking about doing "something" with a lot of other drunks (but when did a room full of drunks ever actually DO anything?) Some have given up and are just doing what they can to anesthetize the pain until they accidentally OD.
That just leave a handful of radical ideologues to form small bands and do something. Unfortunately, what small violent bands usually do best is destroy things and get a few people killed. So the beat goes on ...

I am not sure what mass arrests you are referring to, so this one is hard to answer.
If this is about a Q-Anon statement, then I am not Q-Anon.
If it is about the Capitol Protest, the Government has already started to arrest people that committed crimes and the Press has already convicted people for being there or looking like someone that was there. (Welcome to Guilty until proven innocent).
You are making a massive oversight. You apparently only consider someone to be “armed” if they are carrying a firearm. That’s not at all true. The insurrectionists brought weapons of all types including pipes, clubs (some also used as flagpoles), rope (for hangings), and zip tie handcuffs (for prisoners/hostages). They also used items taken from the Capitol as weapons.
So stop claiming that they were unarmed.
I’m not sure they wanted a vastly different system, but they wanted Mike Pence to blatantly violate the Constitution and reject the votes of the duly-appointed electors, or else have House and Senate members to reject the votes of certain states. Their idea of government was totally based around supporting the personality of Donald Trump.
”Brawling” sound like the officer had a disagreement with someone else and voluntarily participated in a fight. What happened was that crowds of people who claimed to “back the blue” overwhelmed and severely beat many of the officers with their flagpoles, pipes and fire extinguishers. The officer who died from his injuries was brutally and fatally beaten with a fire extinguisher repeatedly pounded against his head.
You are in denial. You don’t want to have to admit the reality that those murderers and insurrectionists were Trump supporters.
QAnon claimed, as was claimed in this forum and elsewhere, were about to happen at any moment for the past three years or so. Allegedly, Trump was working to expose a massive satanic Democratic/Hollywood pedophile ring that kidnapped children and consumed their flesh and blood — an update to the age-old “blood libel” teaching that was used as justification for persecution of Jews. It still has the Jewish element by constant invocation of George Soros.
