The Way of the Master Moment episode-When a sinner turns from sin.
How would you respond when a sinner wants to legitimately turn from sin and turn to Christ? Would you lead him/her to a sinners prayer and then assume he/she is saved? Or do you promise them that God has a wonderful plan for their lives?
Recently I was in the Bible belt doing biblical evangelism with a group of like minded WOTM evangelists. I met a woman who I believe was softened by the 10 commandments and wanted to turn from sin. She took every different type of gospel tract I had in my hand. I did not lead her into a sinners prayer, but told her to repent from sin, call out to God to save her, and do it today. My only regret was not giving her a copy of Hell's best kept secret as I had none on me. Many in the Bible belt were interested in the gospel, were softened to the preaching of the law. But sadly many are also false converts. Met another church group doing evangelism and they had a different approach but they told me of lots of people they spoke with that knew about God and about church, but just lacked that relationship with Christ and lacked knowledge of the basics of christianity. Many are also so used to hearing open air evangelism they become desentized and just do not respond.
And there goes another moment gone forever.
Go share your faith while you still have time.
