reformedbeliever said:Very good Ed. Now I'm waiting
on scripture that tells me that our spirit does not exist
before conception. That is what we have asked for.
We know God is all knowing. That is without
a doubt.
If the scriptures we have studied can be true without
pre-life souls (simple) why add something complex (pre-life
souls) to explain it?
Deu 18:10-12a (KJV1611 Edition):
There shall not be found among you
any one that maketh his sonne,
or his daughter to passe thorow the fire,
or that vseth diuination,
or an obseruer of times,
or an inchanter,
or a witch,
11 Or a charmer,
or a consulter with familiar spirits,
or a wyzard,
or a Necromancer.
12 For all that do these things,
are an abomination vnto the Lord:
A 'necromancer' is one who reputedly
talks to the spirit of the dead.
If we shouldn't talk to the spirits of the
dead, should we talk to the spirits of the
pre-living? By extrapolation, I think not.

spirit dies.
