Bingo!!! Give this man a cee-gar!!

:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I dont think you can necesarily prove that 1Cor15:52 is talking about the rapture, it seems to be more talking about the resurrection of the dead.

I dont see how you can connect this to 1 Th 4:6

In Matthew 25, Jesus says this right after telling His sheep that they have done His will, and to enter in:

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

So, if there is a seven year tribulation after the saints are resurrected/raptured, and then a 1,000 year Millienial Reign of Christ here, and then the unjust are raised, sentenced, and cast into the LoF, it doesn't seem to indicate it here. Here in Matthew 25, both the just and unjust appear before Him, and each are given their reward according to their works at the same time.

Rev. 20:11-15

11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

In Rev. 20, both small and great stand before Him. It appears that there's a general resurrection of the dead, both just and unjust, saint and sinner, and they both will be given their reward at the same time.

Matthew 24 ties them together.

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place,
(whoso readeth, let him understand: ) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains
But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
Matt 24:15-16, 20
[because on the Sabbath, you will be limited to a "Sabbath Day's Journey" of about 50 yards!]
This, of course means that you are an Orthodox Jew practicing all of the Mosaic Law (including sacrifice offerings).

2Th 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
2Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall out consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
2Th 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

he who now letteth? (The Holy Spirit)
The holy spirit is taken out of the world via rapture of the believers, and THEN the antichrist is revelaed starting the 7 year tribulation period.

Maybe you could explain why you think that him who now letteth is the Holy Spirit. Even the oldest scholars disagree on this.

Some believe that the Restrainer is the Church
Some believe that it is the revived Roman Empire
Some believe that it is Michael the archangel (which makes sense to me).

Also, the passage does not say that the Restrainer is taken away, therefore the Holy Spirit must be going, and with it the Church. Paul says the Restrainer is taken out of the way. That does not demand a leaving, simply a removal of the restraint.

John 5:28, 29 teach a general resurrection and judgment. It is interesting to see the "Rapture Ready" people try to squirm around that Scripture!

The "rapture" is an unScriptural word. The Scriptural word is "reap". The saved will be reaped from the earth by the angels after the lost are taken out. With all the assumptive nonsense surrounding the false doctrine of a pre-Second Coming rapture of the Church, let's look at the exact timing of the reaping from Christ's own words:

So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. (Matthew 13:27-30)

Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

You can wait around for angels.

I plan to meet the Lord in the air.

I just may see him before you young bloods. :)

Curious, would your position change if Israel ever secured the temple mount, rebuilt the temple and began the levitical practices once again?

1. Who empowers the church?
2. We are witnessing the collapse of the last world super power as I type this. There will not be another until the Antichrist.
3. If Michael could not even win the battle over Moses' body and had to appeal to the Lord to rebuke Satan, how is he now restraining him on a global scale?

We are given power over Satan and sin. This power will not be there during the Great Tribulation.

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a departure first, and that
man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God,
or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
2 Thes 2:3-4

So, are you implying that Jesus was "misleading" us, or that Jesus was somehow "confused" concerning this yet future event?

BTW, the current "peace process" could easily include shared access to the Temple Mount by Jews and Muslims.....
