When I was in the Navy Seabees, William Carey College offered classes at our base in Gulfport. Our chaplain taught English and Bible classes. I earned 12 credits from WCC and always wanted to see the campus someday. I should at least get a coffee mug from the bookstore or something. How big of a school is it? Just wondering?

Looks like there is about 2800 students on three campuses. The largest is the main campus in Hattiesburg, MS where the student body is around 2000. The Coast campus that taught at your base has a few hundred students, and the third campus is a nursing school on the campus of New Orleans Seminary.
Personally, i think it's a good school and under great leadership with Dr Larry Kennedy. I had the opportunity to take a couple of the classes he taught when he was a teaching prof and dean of the religion school at Carey.

Things change as one gets older.

Valdosta State College has become Valdosta State University and Troy State University has become Troy University.

Trying to justify the time and $$ to continue a Ph.D from the College of St. Alcuin. I no longer teach in Minnesota and so it is 850 miles from where I'm at and that is too much difficulty.

Dr. Bob,

Are all of your credentials from accredited schools. If not, has it mattered working towards a PhD?
