Now let's go through this slowly and bring everything to the light of God's WORD section by section and scripture by scriptures and see if if there is any truth in what you are sharing. Now Dan, what exactly would that garbage be when only God's WORD has been shared with you? God's WORD is not my words but God's Word and we should believe and follow it over the teachings and traditions of men that break the commandments of God *ROMANS 3:4; JESUS says those who follow man made teachings and traditions that break the commandments of God are not following God *MATTHEW 15:3-9. The New Testament makes that a moot point because Christians are not under the law and there is no command in the New Testament for Christians to keep the Sabbath day holy nor is there anything said about Christians being condemned for failing to do so.

They NEW TESTAMENT makes what a moot point? No one is "UNDER THE LAW" as you say if they have through faith repented of their sins and been forgiven of them *ROMANS 8:1-4. We are only "UNDER THE LAW" if we stand guilty before God of breaking the law *ROMANS 3:19-20.

Sin is defined in God's WORD in the NEW TESTAMENT as the transgression or breaking of any one of God's 10 commandments *ROMANS 7:7; 1 JOHN 3:4; JAMES 2:10-11. God's 4th commandment is one of God's 10 commandments that give us the "KNOWLEDGE" of what sin is when broken *ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7; 1 JOHN 3:4. If we break it just like any one of God's 10 commandments we stand guilty before God "UNDER THE LAW" *ROMANS 3:19-20; JAMES 2:10-11.

Now as to the claim that there is no commands in the NEW COVENANT to keep the SABBATH JESUS, JAMES, PETER, JOHN and all the new COVENANT teach that everyone of God's 10 commandments including God's 4th commandment. You just do not want to hear the scriptures here brother as you work on God's Sabbath so God's WORD goes against your tradition.

The scriptures tell us JESUS and all the disciples kept the SABBATH * LUKE 4:16; MATTHEW 12:1-12. JESUS taught us how to correctly keep the SABBATH and that is it lawful to do good on the Sabbath *MATTHEW 12:1-12; MARK 3:1-5; LUKE 6:1-10; JOHN 7:22-23; 9:14; MARK 1:21; MARK 6:2; LUKE4:16; 31; LUKE 14:1; 23:56. JESUS taught us that the SABBATH was made for mankind *MARK 2:27 and that he is LORD and creator of the SABBATH *MARK 2:28; JOHN 1:1-4; 14; HEBREWS 1:2; EPHESIANS 3:9; COLOSSIANS 1:16-17.

So JESUS being the creator of heaven and earth and "LORD" of the SABBATH day *MATTHEW 12:8 is the one who made the SABBATH for all mankind and is the same one who commands us to keep it holy *EXODUS 20:8-11. Now brother, even after the death, burial and ressurrection of JESUS all the dsiciples and the church were still keeping the Sabbath according to God's 4th commandment *ACTS 13:14-15; ACTS 13:42-44; ACTS 16:13; ACTS 17:1-2; ACTS 18:4-5.

All of God's LAW (10 commandments) are taught and upheld by JESUS and all the apostles and JAMES says if we break any one of them we stand guilty before God of sin *JAMES 2:10-11.

Romans 14:5 - One man regards one day above another, another regards every day alike. Let each man be fully convinced in his own mind.

And this is talking about the SABBATH where? Where does it say in all of ROMANS 14 (or anywhere in the book of ROMANS) that Paul is talking about God's 4th commandment SABBATH? Your trying to pit PAUL against PAUL when PAUL says DO WE MAKE VOID THE LAW THROUGH FAITH NO WE ESTABLISH THE LAW *ROMANS 3:31 and what matters is KEEPING THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD *1 CORINTHIANS 7:19 and it is not the HEARERS OF GODS LAW but the DOER'S OF GOD'S LAW wil be justified *ROMANS 2:13-16.

Paul tells us it is only the lost that will not subject themselves to God's LAW *ROMANS 8:6-8 and that God's LAW under the NEW COVENANT is written on the heart to love *HEBREWS 8:10-12 and that God's LAW is Holy Just and Good *ROMANS 7:12 and that it gives us the knowledge of what sin is when broken *ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7 and that if we break God's LAW we dishonor God *ROMANS 2:23 and are under the law and stand guilty before God of sin *ROMANS 3:19. But you say brother that ROMANS 14 is a reference to God's 4th Commandment when God's 4th commandment is not even mentioned in the whole chapter?

Your twisting the scriptures trying to say PAUL is saying something that he is not it is clear because through the LAW is the "KNOWLEDGE" of what sin is *ROMANS 3:20 but your working on the Sabbath blinds your eyes and ears so you do not see and do not hear God's WORD.

I guess this scripture says it all. You shall not observe times BUT you will keep my sabbaths.

God's 10 commandments are not the hand writing or the commandments in "ORDINANCES" These are the "CEREMONIAL SHADOW LAWS" from the MOSAIC BOOK of the OLD COVENANT.

2 CORINTHIANS 3 is discussing the two glories of the covenants which are the 10 Commandments written on stone and the promise of the Spirit to write them in the heart through faith that works by LOVE.

The one written on stone; Gives us the KNOWLEDGE of SIN and RIGHTEOUSNESS *ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7; 1 JOHN 3:4; PSALMS 119:172. We all must have a knowledge of what sin is before we can be forgiven and free to walk in God's Spirit *ACTS 2:38; 1 JOHN 1:9; PROVERBS 28:13. The promise of God's Spirit in the NEW COVENANT changes the minsistration of death (wages of sin ROMANS 6:23) to the ministration of the Spirit removing God's commandments written on stone by writing them on the fleshly tables of the heart through faith that works by LOVE *HEBREWS 8:7-12 because LOVE is the establishing and fulfilling of Gods LAW in all those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW God's Word *ROMANS 13:8-10.

2 CORINTHIANS 3 is showing the process of conversion in the NEW COVENANT with God's LAW written on stone giving us the knowledge of SIN and leading us cross of Christ and to the NEW COVENANT promise to be born again, to have God's law written in the heart through faith that works by love freeing us to walk in the Spirit GALATIANS 3:22-25; GALATIANS 5:16; ROMANS 8:1-4.

Well of course SDA's will argue that Paul was merely talking about "these" days and sabbaths and not "that" day or the weekly sabbath and "these" ordinances and law of commandments, but not "those" ordinances and law of commandments in a desperate effort to get around the truth. SDA's are absolutely obsessed with the Sabbath day and have turned it into an idol! So obsessed that they even teach the ludicrous doctrine that near the end of time the "mark of the best" of Revelation 14 will be placed upon those who worship on Sunday instead of Saturday. - Bible Truth Versus Adventist Truth - Mark of the Beast SDA legalism culminates in salvation by "grace plus law, faith plus works" which is more than a subtle mixture of law and grace that is a perversion of the gospel (Galatians 1:6-9; 2 Corinthians 4:3,4) and they have the audacity to condemn believers who do not subscribe to their perverted gospel by accusing them of willfully sinning and numbering them with the "many" in Matthew 7:22-23, which I find so ironic.

Dan this is just your drivel and slander here. Did you have and scriptures to discuss? These are just your words denying God's WORD. Only God's WORD is true and we should believe and follow it. I find it interesting that SDA's detest Sunday and call it a Catholic tradition, yet in the Old Testament, we find these passages of scripture. In Leviticus 23:11, we read - And he shall wave the sheaf before the Lord for you to be accepted; on the day after the sabbath the priest shall wave it. (The day after the Sabbath is Sunday). Read on in Leviticus 23:15 -You shall also count for yourselves from the day after the sabbath, from the day when you brought in the sheaf of the wave offering; there shall be seven complete sabbaths. You shall count fifty days to the DAY AFTER THE SEVENTH SABBATH; then you shall present a new grain offering to the Lord.'" This is the Feast of Pentecost. It was one of the compulsory feasts of Israel. Note on the day of Pentecost, a Sunday God's people were commanded to worship. God says, "On this same day you shall make a proclamation as well; you are to have a holy convocation. You shall do no laborious work. It is to be perpetual statue in all your dwelling places throughout your generations." (Leviticus 23:21).

Where does it say in anything you have provided here from the OLD TESTAMENT scriptures of the annual jewish festivals that God's 4th commandment has been abolished and we are now commanded to keep weekly SUNDAY (not yearly feast days) a Holy day? Once again there is no scripture is there Dan?

This is not only applying to "ceremonial" days. Leviticus 23:1-4 starts out talking about the weekly Sabbath. It's called an appointed time and a holy convocation, along with all the other feast days of Israel. No distinction is made by God between these holy days and the weekly Sabbath. He includes them all as being holy. This would mean that under the old covenant the First Fruits Sunday and the Pentecost Sunday were holy just as Saturday.

Of course many of the annual feast day went longer than a week and would start on any day of the week depending on the yearly cycle. What your not considering and you refuse to acknowledge or can you address is that God's 4th commandment *EXODUS 20:8-11 was made for mankind *MARK 2:27-28 on the "SEVENTH DAY OF THE CREATION WEEK" *GENESIS 2:1-3 when there was no sin when mankind was in perfect harmony with God. The annual feast days were a part of the "MOSAIC SHADOW LAWS AND ORDINANCES" that were prophetic in nature pointing to JESUS and God's plan of salvation for mankind under the NEW COVENANT. So God's 4th commandment Sabbath cannot be a part of the SHADOW laws in God's plan of salvation because it was made for mankind "BEFORE SIN" and BEFORE God's plan of salvation was given. This alone shows why you are in error brother. My prayer for you is that you may hear God's WORD it is not too late Dan.

The old covenant was made with Israel, and NOT with the Gentiles. Look at Exodus 31:13-17 - "But as for you, speak to the sons of Israel, saying, 'You shall surely observe My sabbaths; for this is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you.. So the sons of Israel shall observe the sabbath, to celebrate the sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between Me and the sons of Israel forever.. When will SDA's learn that Sabbath keeping with all it's rules and regulations, was part of a covenant with Israel (Exodus 16:23, 29; 31:12-18; 35:1-3; Leviticus 19:30; 23:2-3, 32; Numbers 15:32-36; 28:1-10; 29:39-40; I Chronicles. 23:30-31; II Chronicles 31:2-4; Isaiah 1:13; Amos 8:5; Nehemiah 10:31) that is not binding on Christians under the new covenant.

You are confused brother. According to God's WORD in the NEW COVENANT, God's "ISRAEL" are all those who "BELIEVE AND FOLLOW God's WORD * ROMANS 9:6-8; GALATIANS 3:28-29; ROMANS 2:28-29. There are no more gentiles *COLOSSIANS 3:11; ROMANS 10:11-13; ROMANS 1:17-18. Gentile believers are now grafted in to God's ISRAEL by faith *ROMANS 11:13-27. If you are not a part of God's ISRAEL you have no part in the NEW COVENANT promise to love *HEBREWS 8:10-12. The SABBATH therefore continues to be a sign and an everlasting (forever) covenant to all those who "BELIEVE and FOLLOW" God's WORD.

Since the entire old covenant has been made obsolete, does this leave us with no moral direction? Absolutely not. God made obsolete the old covenant to "put legally into place" the new covenant (2 Corinthians 3:6-9; Hebrews 8:13). The life of discipleship flows out of the new command, to love one another as He loved us (John 13:34), which Paul refers to as the "law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2). Love fulfills the law (Romans 13:8-10).

You are confused as to what the OLD COVENANT is. If you do not know what the "OLD COVENANT" is brother, how can you understand what the NEW COVENANT IS? You mix up the "SHADOW LAWS" *HEBREWS 7 to 10 (Levitical priesthood, animal sacrifices, and ceremonial laws in ordinances) with God's eternal LAW (10 Commandments) that give us the "KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL; SIN AND RIGHTOUESNESS" in the NEW COVENANT *ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7; 1 JOHN 3:4; PSALMS 119:172. LOVE is indeed the fulfilling of God's LAW in the heart of the believer. This is the NEW COVENANT. It is not separate from God's LAW which is the very expression of what LOVE is to GOD and man...

Rubbish! Every single one of God's 10 commandments are repeated all through the NEW COVENANT both "INDIVIDUALLY" and "COLLECTIVELY" by JESUS and the Apostles.

In Acts 20:7, we read - Now on the first day of the week, (Sunday) when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul, ready to depart the next day, spoke to them and continued his message until midnight.
