“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.” Galatians 1:8–9 (KJV 1900)

Than do not peach another Gospel Dave. Only God's WORD is true and we should believe and follow it ROMANS 3:4. Where is the scripture that says God's 4th Commandment has been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day? There is none is there, and if there is no scripture what Gospel are you following when JESUS says all those who "KNOWINGLY" follow the teachings and traditions of men that break the commandments of God are not following God *MATTHEW 15:3-9? Something to pray about don't you think?

Thanks for this again :).

Thanks for this :).

I asked you for clarity to your post but you simply repeated yourself so I will share the same post I sent you earlier. Now what commandments are we talking about here? Yep the 10 commandments.

Are you trying to argue that there is only 6 of the 10 commandmenets that we are to obey now and not 10?

How many commandments are in the 10 commandments; 6; 9; 613? Here is a hint what does God's WORD say? *DEUTERONOMY 10:4.

According to Gods' WORD in the NEW COVENANT if we break any one of God's 10 Commandment we stand guilty before God of sin *JAMES 2:10-11.

Now do you have any scripture that answers any of the questions in the OP? Nope! You have not provided a single one.

Do you have any scripture that says Gods' 4th commandments which is one of God's 10 commandments has been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day? Nope you do not have a single one.

If you do not have a single scripture to support this man made teaching and tradition that breaks the commandments of God does not not worry you? It should, JESUS says those who "KNOWINGLY" do so are not following God.

Many will be dissappointed come judgment day when they had the chance to hear Gods' WORD and chose to turn away from it only to find out too late they lost everything they throught they were gaining *MATTHEW 7:22-26.

"Are you trying to argue that there is only 6 of the 10 commandmenets that we are to obey now and not 10?"

Which commandment is LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF?

I'm saying Jesus CHRIST says : 18Then he said to Him, “Which ones?” And Jesus said, “YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT MURDER; YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY; YOU SHALL NOT STEAL; YOU SHALL NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS; 19HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER; and YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.”

Your version of Jesus Christ would not have answered the same way. He would have said ALL of them or Emphasize the Sabbath.

Did Jesus Christ say Keep the sabbath? Show us one line in the bible that Jesus says Keep the sabbath.

Ok time to rest. Does anyone want to get back to the OP now?

The challenge I am putting up here in the OP is for anyone to show even one scripture that says God's 4th Commandment of the 10 commandments (Exodus 20:8-11) which was spoken and written by God himself to his people, has been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day.

1. That God's 4th commandments 7th day Sabbath has been abolished?

2. That Jesus is a Sabbath?

3. The Sabbath (seventh day) was ever changed from the seventh to the first day of the week?

4. Where we are told to keep the first day of the week holy?

5. Where the first day of the week (Sunday) is ever called a holy day?

6. That says that Jesus ever kept the first day (Sunday)?

7. That tells us to keep the first day in honour of the resurrection of Christ?

8. Where the first day is ever given any sacred name?

9. That affirms that any of the apostles ever kept the first day as the Sabbath?

10. From any apostolic writings that authorizes Sunday observance as the Sabbath of God?

11. Where we are told not to work on the first day of the week?

12. That says the seventh day is no longer God's Sabbath day?

13. That says the seventh day Sabbath is ABOLISHED?

14. Where the apostles ever taught any convert to keep the first day of the week as a Sabbath?

15. Where the first day was ever appointed to be kept as the Lord's Day?

16. Where the first day of the week is ever called the Lord's Day?

17. That says that the first day of the week was ever sanctified and hallowed as a day of rest?

18. That says that the Father or the Son (Jesus) rested on the first day of the week?

19. That says that Jesus, Paul or any other of the apostles taught anyone to observe the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

20. That calls the seventh day the “Jewish Sabbath” or one text that calls Sunday the “Christian Sabbath”?

21. Telling man to keep the first day of the week holy or to worship or rest on the first day of the week?

22. Authorizing anyone to set aside God's Sabbath and observe any other day?

23. Showing any of the apostles keeping the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

24. Authorizing someone to set aside the fourth Commandment and observe any other day of the week?

25. Where any apostle taught us to keep the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

26. Declaring that the seventh day is no longer the Eternal Sabbath day?

27. Where Sunday is now appointed to be kept as the New Testament Sabbath or holy day?

...................

Something to think about here because we are all accountable to God come judgment day where we will all be judged by the Word of God (John 12:47-48).

[4], For God commanded, saying, Honor your father and mother: and, He that curses father or mother, let him die the death.
[5], But you say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift devoted to God, whatsoever you might have received from me;
[6], And honors not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have you made the commandment of God void by your tradition.
[7], You hypocrites, well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying,
[8], These people draw near unto me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
[9], But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

If we are KNOWINGLY breaking ANY of God's commandments we are not worshipping God.

Rubbish! The rich young ruler said he did all these things from his youth up. JESUS was showing him when he told him to give away his riches and come and follow him that he loved his riches more than God and therefore breaking the fist four commandments. Are you really trying to teach that God's first four commandments are not a requirement for Christians and we can now have other God's, make idols, use God's name in vain and break God's Sabbath which is our duty of LOVE to God *MATTHEW 22:36-40? Can you see how silly this argument is brother? How many commandments are there in God's 10 commandments written with God's own finger; 6; 9; 10; 613?" Here is a hint, what does God's WORD say? *DEUTERONOMY 10:4.

Hope this helps

The law, the very words of GOD, also says,

Lev. 20:‘If there is a man who commits adultery with another man’s wife, one who commits adultery with his friend’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

Now, when the woman caught in adultery was brought before Jesus. did He throw a rock at her? No, He said, "Let he who is without sin throw the first rock". The ONLY one thus qualified was Jesus Himself. (Remember, those Jews were trying to get Jesus to say something for which they could stone HIM, as well. ) Then, Jesus told her He didn't condemn her & for her to go & sin no more.

So, did Jesus sin by allowing that woman to live ???????

Love God is on Jesus' list. You just cant see it. That is why scripture says.

Galatians 5
14For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, “YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.”

When asked WHICH ONES, Jesus could have easily said ALL of it, The WHOLE THING.

Instead he specified what was required:

“YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT MURDER;
YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY;
YOU SHALL NOT STEAL;
YOU SHALL NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS;
HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER;
YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.”

Ask yourself if Jesus was face to face right now in front of us would he answer the same way?

The answer is absolutely Yes. Your Gut says NO WAY, because you have been indoctrinated to a position of Christ simply does not hold.

I asked in the very beginning is Jesus TELLING THE TRUTH or NOT. You said yes. Then clearly we are HOME FREE without requiring Sabbath.

All of this focus on the sabbath robs from this message...

And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. - 1 Corinthians 2:1-2

13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holy day, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. - Colossians 2

Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye. Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come. - 1 Corinthians 16:1-2

This is about all the Apostle Paul said of the Sabbath Day. He did not condemn it or support it. The meeting of the church began on Sunday (known as the Lord's day) and has continued on that day ever since.

IThe Gospel is "EVERY WORD" that proceeds out of the mouth of God yet you do not believe them so neither do you follow. As I shared with your friend we are only saved by GRACE through faith and not of ourselves it is a gift of God *EPHESIANS 2:8. OBEDIENCE to God's LAW is not how we are saved it is the FRUIT of God's work in us as we BELIEVE and FOLLOW his WORD by faith that works by LOVE. This is God's work in us and a part of the NEW COVENANT promise *HEBREWS 8:10-12; PHILIPPIANS 2:13. If our faith has no fruit it is dead *JAMES 2:18-20; 26 and our tree will be cast down and thrown into the fire *MATTHEW 3:10; 7:19-20; 13:49-50.

God's sheep hear his Voice (the WORD) and follow him *JOHN 10:26-27
Enough with the sugarcoated double talk and NO, the gospel is NOT every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God, which would make the entire Bible the gospel, but by teaching that it makes it much easier for you to pervert the gospel. The word “gospel” means “good news” which does not cover everything in the Bible. Mormons “add” the book of Mormon to the Bible and call it the “fullness of the gospel” and coincidentally, they also teach a “works based” false gospel.

So, did Jesus sin by allowing that woman to live ???????

JOHN 8:1-11 teaches that "ALL HAVE SINNED AND FALL SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD" *ROMANS 3:23 and the wages of sin is indeed death, but God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son to die the death for our sins that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life *JOHN 3:16.

The GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE to EVERYONE who "BELIEVES in OUR LORD JESUS Christ *JOHN 3:16; ROMANS 6:23. The Woman knew she was a "SINNER" and so did JESUS who knows we are all sinners in need of a Savior. JESUS had come not to call the righteous but sinners to repentance and that is why he dined with publicans and sinners *MATTHEW 9:10

MATTHEW 9:12-13 [12], But when Jesus heard that, he said to them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. [13], But go you and learn what that means, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Many do not know the meaning do you?

That is why JESUS has come to call us to "REPENTANCE". JESUS shows all who "BELIEVE" his WORD "MERCY" and tells us to "Go and sin no more"

The wages is sin is "DEATH" in all those who "CONTINUE" in known unrepentant sin as shown in both the OLD *DEUTERONOMY 22:25; LEVITICUS 20:10 and NEW TESTAMENT scriptures *HEBREWS 10:26-39; HEBREWS 6:4-8; ROMANS 6:23; MATTHEW 7:22-26 to all those who reject the gift of God's dear son *ROMANS 6:23; REVELATION 22:12

God offers us all "MERCY" first if we choose to BELIEVE and FOLLOW his WORD and judgment 2nd if we choose not to *HEBREWS 10:26-27

God's sheep hear his VOICE (the WORD) and follow him.

You are confused. No one loves GOD by not keeping God's LAW and is why JESUS says "IF you love me keep my COMMANDMENTS *JOHN 14:15 and on these two commandments of LOVE (to GOD and man) "HANG ALL THE LAW and the prophets" *MATTHEW 22:36-40. OBEDIENCE to God's LAW through faith is how God's LAW is expressed and is the fruit of God's Work in all those who believe and follow his WORD and is the NEW COVENANT promise *ROMANS 13:8-10; HEBREWS 8:10-12; ROMANS 3:31.

Exactly! Behind all the scripture twisting, sugarcoated doubletalk, trickery, deceit and SDA propaganda, that sums it right up.

Now Dan, your a funny one. What I have said here that is not Gods' WORD and if I have only shared Gods' WORD with you than why do you not believe it? God's sheep hear His Voice (the Word) and follow him, those who are not are not God's sheep. You have been shown through the Word of God alone why you are in error brother but you do not hear because you do not believe because your working on the Sabbath is more important to you that to believe and follow God's Word. In times of "IGNORANCE" God winks at but when he gives us a "KNOWLEDGE" of the truth calls all men everywhere to believe and follow his Word *ACTS 17:30-31 because if we sin "WILLFULLY" when God gives us a "KNOWLEDGE" of the truth there remains no more sacrifice for sin but a fearful looking forward to of the judgment to come *HEBREWS 10:26-39.

Mormons “add” the book of Mormon to the Bible and call it the “fullness of the gospel” and coincidentally, they also teach a “works based” false gospel.

Well that is not true DAN the Gospel is indeed every word that proceeds out of the mouth of GOD and we are to live by it *MATTHEW 4:4. Both the OLD and NEW TESTAMENT scriptures are the two great witnesses that bear witness to JESUS and God's plan of salvation for mankind.

The Gospel is JESUS <Jesus means Savior; John 1:29> and JESUS is THE WORD OF GOD (John 1:1-14; 17:17; 14:6). THE WORD OF GOD is the GOSPEL BECAUSE BY FAITH IT IS OUR SAVIOR and this the IS GOOD NEWS to those who BELIEVE. (John 1:1-14; John 1:29; John 17:17; 14:6; Matthew 4:4)

The "Gospel" (good news) is EVERY Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God and it is God's Word that we are to live by and have life (Matthew 4:4). The "Gospel" was being preached before the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus (e.g. Mark 1:15; 8:35; Matthew 4:23; Matthew 9:35; 11:5; 24:14; Luke 4:18; 7:22; 20:11)

The Good New (Gospel) is indeed Jesus, His life, death, resurrection and new administration as our great high priest, but Jesus is the Word of God. The Gospel is the WORD OF GOD and it is the WORD OF GOD that we are to BELIEVE and live by. (Matthew 4:4; John 1-1-4; John 3:16).

If we are NOT BELIEVING and LIVING by the WORD OF GOD we have yet to experience God's GRACE through FAITH, because OBEDIENCE is the FRUIT of FAITH. If their is NO FRUIT you are still in your SINS and do not know him who LOVES ALL (1 John 3:3-10; James 2:18; 20; 26; Hebrews 10:26-27; 6:4-8).

But you preach another Gospel. One that is not according to every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God and one that leads others to break God's commandments in order to follow man made teachings and tradtitions. JESUS says all those how knowingly follow the teachings and traditions of men are not following God *MATTHEW 15:3-9. I choose to believe and follow Gods' WORD how about you?

God's Sheep hear His Voice (the Word) and follow him. Those who do not hear and do not follow are not God's Sheep.

My friend everything in this post is only a re-hash of lies given to you by those who surface read or do not want you to know the truth of God's WORD. This has been addressed in great detail through the scriptures evaluating chapter and within scripture contxt linking the old and new testament scriptures starting here...

COL 2:16 And The Sabbath - Are You Being Told The Truth?
WHAT DAY IS THE LORD'S DAY ? - IT IS NOT SUNDAY

Read through the scriptures provided that disagree with the interpretation of COLOSSIANS 2 and REVELATION 1:10 you have been given and tell me if you still agree with what you are claiming here.

Hope this helps.

what is the reference? chapter and verse
Sure JOHN 10:1-10; JOHN 10:26-27, but did you want to discuss the OP now? Where is the scripture that says God's 4th commandment has been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day? There is none is there? God's Sheep hear his Voice (the Word) and follow him. The question we must ask ourselves is who are we following.
