Dear brother, Scriptures interpret Scriptures, understand? I give you Scriptures interpreting Scriptures.
No, you give us irrelevant scriptures that go off on tangents. The question is “where is heaven?”

Well, maybe it's me, I'm used to someone quoting Scripture and then explaining it according to the topic.

That way I can respond understanding the other view.

Exactly! He constantly goes off on tangents that have NOTHING to do with the OP with accusations that some of us our demonic or unsaved. Not sure why the moderator's tolerate his venomous fangs on the BB. Maybe they hope he will eventually repent. HE is the one who needs to 'be prepared or get ready'!!!

It's not just you, Charlie. Why the moderator's allow Oceas3 to continue to cut & paste Bible verses that usually have no relevance to the OP and then tell us all to 'Be prepared or get ready' I have no idea. If challenged he comes back with 'what matters is the word of God'.

Well, yes it certainly matters. But, even on his own website he has a grand membership of a little more than 20 people worldwide. So we aren't the only people to find him irrelevant.

I don't ever remember having any conversation with that particular member.

That's difficult when you have no idea what he's talking about, or what the Scripture posted is supposed to mean.

Where's heaven? Heaven is "up."
He's looking for latitude, longitude and altitude.
We're getting attitude.

Personally I don't think the first thing I'll get when I die is a map with directions to heaven.
Heaven is where God dwells... believers will dwell with him.
It's where you store your treasures that last (Matt 6:19-20).
I do not believe heaven lies hidden within our physical universe.
Like Psalty, I believe heaven is dimensionally hidden outside our perspective - "God is Spirit" and heaven is a special dwelling place amid the spirit world.

Importantly, the location of the future new heaven and earth differs from God’s current dwelling place—the new creation may occupy the same space as the present creation, though transformed, and the redeemed will ultimately dwell with God there.

No, I don't think we will have any problems finding heaven.

When Christ spoke of the rich man and Lazarus, He said Lazarus died and was carried by the angles to Paradise.

I believe all of us will have a royal escort into the arms of Christ.

And where is that?
Scripture might provide the answer. We know that it is not the first heaven, our atmosphere, where clouds drift and birds fly. Ditto for the second heaven, where the moon, sun and stars are located.

Therefore when Jesus said no one had ascended to heaven, He was referring to the third heaven, the abode of God, where His throne and the tree of life are located. The third heaven is also called Paradise.

One confusing aspect of the concept of the "heavenly" is the claim that Elijah was taken to "heaven" in a whirlwind. 2 Kings 2:11. At a minimum, all this says is he was conveyed into the first heaven, the atmosphere, where whirlwinds exist. Scripture does not tell us what became of his physical body, but scripture does indicate Elijah was then spiritually taken to Abraham's bosom.

We have two concepts for the abode of God, wherever He resides, such as indwelling born anew believers is His abode, thus the kingdom of God is within them. And we, being within Christ, are somehow located where He is, sitting on the throne in the third heaven. See Ephesians 1:3 and 1:20.

Bottom line, the third heaven is a spiritual place, and is NOT located in our physical universe.
