Where is the Gospel that Saves One's Soul Found?

Someone explain to me how 1st chapter of John is any less 'potent' than the 3rd chapter of John.
I guess John 3 actually says you must be born again.

John 1 doesn't say that. Just minor insignificant things about salvation like:

>In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

>But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

>Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

>We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.

>And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

Move on quickly to John 3. Nothing to see here. No message about the Lamb, the Messiah, our soul's salvation. :( :(

I guess John 3 actually says you must be born again.

It's literally 'born from above', as in 'born of God' John 1:13, 'born of the Spirit' John 3:8, 'born from Jerusalem above' Gal 4:26. 'begotten of God' 1 John 3:9; 4:7; 5:1,4,18

There is no command or invite to 'get yourself born from above' in John 3 or anywhere else. "The Spirit where He willeth doth blow". Man is totally passive in the birth from above:

who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:13

John 1 doesn't say that.

Wrong. I just showed you.

Just minor insignificant things about salvation like:

Lol, perhaps you missed this minor insignificant thing?:

14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth. Jn 1

24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for except ye believe that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was born, I am. Jn 8

@Dr. Bob:
"Ah, brother, do you not grasp sarcasm?? That is why I proved the point that was being attacked."

I actually suspected that you might have posted 'tongue-in-cheek', but my response was more for the benefit of others who don't know better than for you.

Please forgive me if I offended. No disrespect intended, sincerely.

Hmm.

. . . as in John 3:3, . . . cannot see the kingdom of God.

As found in Matthew, Mark and Luke.

As in Matthew 18:3, . . . shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
As in Mark 10:15, . . . shall not enter therein.
As in Luke 18:17, . . . shall in no wise enter therein.

So the question in John 3:4 is asked, . . . How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

John 3:6, . . . That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

John 3:7, . . . must be born again.

As usual, I've no idea what your point is. All I know about you is that you're adamantly opposed to Sovereign Grace, and that somehow in your mind you believe these passages refute it.
