Where's the outrage?

We spend billions to "protect" Americans from terrorists from other countries. But the spineless politicians do nothing to protect Americans from the gun toting terrorists that live among us.

Have my eyes deceived me? Did you just call the black people that perpetrated this crime terrorists? Beware the wrath of Zaac.

Race does not matter in matters such as this or Charleston. Politicians need to stop worrying so much about the next election and do what is right and protective of the American people.

Your eyes aren't all that's deceived. He just called Dylann Roof and others a terrorists or is your comprehension that slow?

Really? "Terrorists"?

What should they do? Make *ALL* guns illegal?

The same level of attention was given to those as if it was a black on white crime.

Unless you are a hypocrite you should give the same attention and outrage to this shooting in Detroit as you do to the shooting in Charleston. Or do black lives matter less when the perp is another black?

Yes terrorists. Why call people from other country terrorists but why not call our own who commit the same type of crime terrorists?

Definition, please. Not your own, but from a credible dictionary.

Stop being foolish. You haven't asked for a definition of terrorist when anybody else has used the term. You know full well what a terrorist is and why Dylan Roof fits the definition.

Definitions of Terrorism in the U.S. Code

18 U.S.C. § 2331 defines "international terrorism" and "domestic terrorism" for purposes of Chapter 113B of the Code, entitled "Terrorism”:

"International terrorism" means activities with the following three characteristics:

Involve violent acts or acts dangerous to human life that violate federal or state law;
Appear to be intended (i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population; (ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or (iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping; and
Occur primarily outside the territorial jurisdiction of the U.S., or transcend national boundaries in terms of the means by which they are accomplished, the persons they appear intended to intimidate or coerce, or the locale in which their perpetrators operate or seek asylum.*

"Domestic terrorism" means activities with the following three characteristics:

Involve acts dangerous to human life that violate federal or state law;
Appear intended (i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population; (ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or (iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination. or kidnapping; and
Occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the U.S.

18 U.S.C. § 2332b defines the term "federal crime of terrorism" as an offense that:

Is calculated to influence or affect the conduct of government by intimidation or coercion, or to retaliate against government conduct; and
Is a violation of one of several listed statutes, including § 930(c) (relating to killing or attempted killing during an attack on a federal facility with a dangerous weapon); and § 1114 (relating to killing or attempted killing of officers and employees of the U.S.).

* FISA defines "international terrorism" in a nearly identical way, replacing "primarily" outside the U.S. with "totally" outside the U.S. 50 U.S.C. § 1801(c).

Anything to avoid giving your own opinion.

OK, Terrorist:

a person who terrorizes or frightens others.

Do you agree?
No.
a person who uses terrorism in the pursuit of political aims.
From French*terroriste, from Latin terror*(see*terror). The word was originally applied to supporters of the Jacobins in the French Revolution, who advocated repression and violence in pursuit of the principles of democracy and equality.

1. a*person,*usually*a*member*of*a*group,*who uses*or*advocates*terrorism.

2.
a*person*who*terrorizes*or*frightens*others.

The use of violent acts to frighten the people in an area as a way of trying to achieve a political goal; the systematic use of*terror*especially as a means of coercion.
-----
So who were the terrorists at this block party? What agenda were they using this act to draw attention to and further their cause?

I didn't say it was about Dylan Roof so stop yourself from looking foolish. And if someone else has already given you a definition, then apply it and stop looking foolish.

You're the one that injected Dylan Roof in a thread about a shooting in Detroit (post #14). If you disagree that the Detroit shooting was an act of terrorism, then take it up with CTB, not me.
