2. You saying there hasn't been unethical republicans... Need I start with Ted Stevens or the solicitor in the bathroom stall? What about torture or firing the entire justice department? You sure you want to declare Democrats are the only unethical party?

Still haven't corrected that reading comprehension problem, huh?

Obama promised "change" and many believed it.

I don't know much about Daschle and sincerely didn't know anything about his wife being a lobbyist. I did however read today that he has more tax problems than originally reported and still owed the IRS.

As for Obama judgment, I guess choosing Senator Judd Gregg, Republican of New Hampshire, for commerce secretary is also a bad decision.

No! He is trying to ensure a filibuster majority in the Senate. Just another example of Chicago/Daly corruption.

If that's what he wanted, why didn't he donate and go down to campaign for Saxby Chambliss in GA? Ever thing's a conspiracy with you guys and nothing can be done because Obama believes it's best for the nation. You will find someway to insert an alteria motive or some super underhanded plan.

The things Obama wants to do are not "best for the nation" and that's why we'll continue fighting against them.

I've always like Daschle. It's good to see him back in public service where I believe he belongs.

This makes the second tax cheat you've liked.

Do you find that an admirable quality or something?

I kind of enjoy the outdated concept of "honesty" myself.

So, is your reasoning..."Because there are bad Republicans, there can't be any bad Democrats?"

I don't get it....

The plot thickens.......and the news gets worse for Tommy boy.....

Tom Daschle collected nearly a quarter of a million dollars in fees in the last two years speaking to leaders of the industry President Barack Obama wants him to reform as the administration's health secretary.
That was just a portion of the more than $5.2 million the former South Dakota senator earned as he advised insurers and hospitals and worked in other industries _ real estate, energy and telecommunications among them, according to a financial statement filed with the Office of Government Ethics.....

Heh.

How is it that if Joe Plumber has a tax problem, it is a big issue, but big with time Democrat politicians, it is no problem? Democrats are simply a party of corruption in all its forms.

I guess I'm still so euphoric that Bush is gone, I haven't come back down to earth yet.

Translation....I don't care that he's a thief. I'm too high.

And if you add Charlie Rangel, you have three tax cheats that have your blessing.

Yes, I like Charlie Rangle also!

Seem like the right-wing who are always voicing how the IRS is evil and should be abolished should admire those who manage to keep from paying taxes! :tongue3:

I don't admire hypocrites, at all. That would include you. Someone who would demand the rich pay more taxes, except in the case of democrat lawmakers, is a hypocryte. You may report me if you want, but you are a hypocrite.

Let me quote yer libby hero, Ted (hic) Kennedy...

"Do we operate under a system of equal justice under law?
Or is there one system for the average citizen and another for the high and mighty?"

NO, I was saying bad is not limited to a party. It is the only true bipartisan club in DC.

Obama will have two honest cabinet members, Secretary of Defense Gates and Secretary of Commerce Gregg, both Republicans.

Obama is approving tax fraud, and puting tax cheats, people who've proven they are attempting to steal from the tax payers, in major positions in the US governement. Now you gotta wonder why.

What would you expect from a student of the Chicago/Daly political machine?
