Who should vote?

Well, as far as women or wives voting in Church there's two reasons:
For Church:
1. For wives: God set up husbands as spiritual leaders of their house. Just as Elders/Pastors are appointed with the understanding that they are spiritual leaders in the Church, so too are husbands set as the spiritual leader in the family on the wedding day. That's why marriage vows include "Love, Honor and Obey" for the wife. With men being spiritual leaders it wouldn't make sense for wives to get their own vote as wives that are submitting to their husbands would vote as their husband does, and a wife not voting with her husband is displaying a lack of submission on a spiritual matter. That's akin to a husband making goo-goo eyes at some other woman while voting on a spiritual matter. I.E the vote is made in a sinful condition.

2. For single women: In a congregational setting the congregation is the final spiritual authority in the Church. The congregation appoints elders, removes elders, sets doctrine, and makes leadership decision on budgets and finances. God tells us that in the Church women are not to have spiritual authority over men. If you have a Church with 70 women and 20 men then in a congregational setting the 70 women will have spiritual authority over the 20 men, which is crystal clear sin as per Paul's writings.

Applicants for membership must be at least 18 years old, must have credible evidence of salvation and must have had believer's baptism.

 

The age of membership depends on whether there is going to be a vote to get rid of the pastor. In that case, young children get baptized and are allowed to vote, depending on where the parents stand.

A woman cannot hold spiritual authority over a man. Lock, stock and barrel.

In that case voting shouldn't even happen. Any vote at all would be a woman assuming spiritual authority over a man.

 

My understanding was that you were the temporary Pastor.

I.E if the 3 women passed a resolution stating that the Church believed X while Pastor Salty believed Y you would've had women exercise spiritual authority over you as temporary Pastor.

 

Yes, then no. Children under 18 can participate in "platform ministries" such as choir or other music. The church is fairly small, runs about 80 at the morning service.
