Where? At a Church meeting, or in general politics?
how about both

Where? At a Church meeting, or in general politics?
Well, as far as women or wives voting in Church there's two reasons:how about both
God created men differently than women. God has ordered the universe to be a Patriarchy, we even call God Father (not Mother). Men are always going to be on top because God made men to be on top. Men are even competing to be the best women and are winning nowadays - see Bruce Jenner "Woman of the Year", or men in women's sports, etc. Men will always come out on top because God made that men's nature and you can't fight God's Order. All we can do is choose WHICH men get on top, not WHETHER men get on top. And I think responsible land-owning men need to be on top, not Bruce Jenner.
Therefore since God ordered the universe to be a Patriarchy, we would be best served to follow His example. The only time in the Bible I know of when a woman leads was Deborah in Judges I believe. And she was there to be a judgement on Israel. Isaiah 3:12 also makes it plain when Isaiah says that women and children ruling over a nation are a judgement upon it and are negative.
Applicants for membership must be at least 18 years old, must have credible evidence of salvation and must have had believer's baptism.OAS -is there an age limit?

The age of membership depends on whether there is going to be a vote to get rid of the pastor. In that case, young children get baptized and are allowed to vote, depending on where the parents stand. Are you saying that is what your Church constitution states?
If so, does your constitution allow for Junior membership?
A woman cannot hold spiritual authority over a man. Lock, stock and barrel.Hmm - about 30 years ago - I became interim pastor of a very small church.
there were 3 ladies and no men. As interim - I did not join the church.
So how would voting in that church?
In that case voting shouldn't even happen. Any vote at all would be a woman assuming spiritual authority over a man.
My understanding was that you were the temporary Pastor.Over what man - there were no men in that church

I.E if the 3 women passed a resolution stating that the Church believed X while Pastor Salty believed Y you would've had women exercise spiritual authority over you as temporary Pastor.
Yes, then no. Children under 18 can participate in "platform ministries" such as choir or other music. The church is fairly small, runs about 80 at the morning service. Are you saying that is what your Church constitution states?
