Why aren’t we calling the Oregon occupiers ‘terrorists?’

<Sigh> I know you're not this dense. The citizens of these states need to lobby their US congresspeople to draw attention to their issues. The congressional representatives then need to publicize the problems and negotiate to bring about changes in policies. It might take a new president to appoint people at the BLM that would be sympathetic to the state's issues.
So the government needs to investigate the government to see if the government did anything wrong?

"although local residents were visibly worried and had even posted signs saying "Militia go home."

"It's sort of frightening when there are people making threats and people toting guns," Burns resident Kainan Jordan told KTVZ. "We're not used to this kind of thing here."

For the record, I wouldn't use the term terrorist either because this is simply too comical to be labeled as anything more.
your irrational fear does not invalidate the US Constitution.png

You can, like the militia people, claim to interpret the constitution any way you desire, but our opinions don't count. The US Supreme Court decides what is the law of the land. They have ruled on this issue. Take it up with them.
Exactly my point! The government investigated the government and ruled the government didn't do anything wrong. <roll eyes>

I love how you speak of "Government" like it's some singular entity. Like there is one big government barbecue every 4th of July where they get together and plot how to make life miserable for entitled crybaby ranchers.

There's a LEGAL process for this. If need be, remove the elected representatives. But taking up arms against the Federal government is an act of insurrection and war.
You don't even need to take up arms to be slaughtered by the government gone amock when they "need" your land, just resist like the Cherokee Indians in 1830.

What does this have to do with the Emperor on the hill? If anything, these actions give rise to more people understanding and agreeing with the Emperor about gun laws.

Again, there is a process to be followed if people believe their grievances aren't being heard. In this instance, the folks who have taken control of the federal land and building, have no standing to bring such a grievance as the Hammonds have explicitly expressed they did not want this.

"I have a pen and a phone".
All the emperor on the hill has to do is give the federal land back to local control.
He has a pen and a phone. He could probably do it from the golf course. Maybe not, I believe his handicap is top secret - wouldn't want that to get out.

I can't speak for or against the "law breakers" but they will be punished in due time, their names will be turned over to the IRS (oops does that still happen anymore?).

Why would you call them morons?

Because they held them to the same set of standards the liberals are holding these people?

Is there like an official Liberal spokesperson that has decided these people should be named terrorist and that will be the official position of all liberals everywhere. I've read plenty of liberal positions that find the situation too comical to even label them terrorists.

Maybe, call me crazy, some people can actually decide what to call them on their own.

That doesn't answer my question.

OK this has turned into political satire...

Actually that's good.

But let's hope and pray no citizens get hurt (Private or governmental).

Yes, the separation of powers under the Constitution. Didn't work out for ya, so you gonna cry now?

Why not? What is there to be afraid of?

Maybe some of them want to visit the refuge center in their county, the one that has been taken over by armed people from Nevada who say they are willing to "kill or be killed."

If this terrorism then so is what "black lives matter" did in Ferguson.

Why didn't we call "black lives matter" terrorists? They destroyed property and threatened the lives of police.

Lots of folks called them terrorists.
