Even though Isaiah 53:4 states clearly about Christ's atonement to include healing why is it denied by the Cessationists?

Cessationists seek medical doctors for healing and do not sell all their possessions and give them to the poor but yet criticise christians as greedy who have faith in Christ's atonement to meet their needs for healing & finances.

You may post your opinions and hardships faced due to denial of healing in atonement (snip)

We do indeed believe that God will provide healing to all of us, as we all shall receive our glowered bodies at His Second Coming, but do not see God promises to heal all of us here and now, as he does promise to heal us from our sins!

First, I don't believe God has ceased to heal.
Second, I have no clue how you can possibly tie Isaiah 53:4 with healing.
Third, this passage shows us that God brings grief to us according to his will.

Isaiah 53:1-12 Who has believed what he has heard from us? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? For he grew up before him like a young plant, and like a root out of dry ground; he had no form or majesty that we should look at him, and no beauty that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth. By oppression and judgment he was taken away; and as for his generation, who considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living, stricken for the transgression of my people? And they made his grave with the wicked and with a rich man in his death, although he had done no violence, and there was no deceit in his mouth. Yet it was the will of the Lord to crush him; he has put him to grief; when his soul makes an offering for guilt, he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days; the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities. Therefore I will divide him a portion with the many, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong, because he poured out his soul to death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and makes intercession for the transgressors.

Sigh the healing spoken of in that verse is not a reference to physical healing.

Only Christians that is, those who have faith in Christ's atonement for healing according to Isaiah 53:4 and re-emphasised in Mathew 8:17 need to answer the following:

Why do cessationists who trust in the mediatorship/messiahship of medical doctors to bring healing from God rather than through Christ's atonement?

The woman in Mathew 9:22 had faith in Christ's Messiahship to bring healing from God. Result? She was healed!!

Do the cessationists justify their failure to be healed by giving lame excuses they are suffering tribulations when Jesus says it's God's will to escape tribulations according to Luke21:36?

I read your OP. Everyone has addressed it and questioned your interpretation. You can either provide actual support for your OP or continue to avoid all responsibility. The onus is on you.

I dare you to quote a passage instead of a sentence in the Bible, Steven. Your shoddy use of scripture is obvious to all, which makes your arguments illegitimate. Context is important, otherwise you are misusing scripture.

I have started this thread with a question to be answered. If you can't stick with the OP, simply get out without exhibiting disruptive behavior. You have no respect here.

Your misuse of scripture is appalling. You have also started this thread in the wrong section. You need to go to your youth leader and get some help discussing this topic.

Steven, it seems you wish to talk only to yourself. Clearly people disagree with your OP and now you want us to leave. The reality is that your demand is not going to happen. Instead, the onus lies on you to support the assertions you have made that, so far, have no legitimate source documents. That is your responsibility and you have been called out by many to do this.
If you want people to agree with you, I suggest you go to a WOF discussion board where they will give you high fives [emoji120] for your comments. Here, your ideas will be challenged and you will actually have to support them with evidence.

DO THE SICK NEED MEDICAL DOCTORS?

Millions have died at the hands of medical doctors. Some christians say God uses doctors to heal. When God created Adam/Eve, He didn't have the need to create doctors as there were no sicknesses. Sicknesses came only after they started to have the knowledge of good and evil.

Most countries have no medical insurance. In such countries, medical expenses are unbearable. So rather than teach christians to desire to visit doctors, teach them healing through faith in Christ's atonement. God never fails in His promise to heal through Christ's atonement.

Dr Luke was obviously unneeded and Timothy's prescription to take a little wine for his stomach ailment was unnecessary.
Steven, why don't you go live on a deserted island for 10 years and then return to us to report on your experience.
