Why It's Ridiculously Foolhardy for Christians to Support Donald Trump

Well Zaac the biblical definition of determining an anti-Christ is not so much what they do but what they believe theologically speaking.

1. They deny the Trinitarian relationship of the Father and the Son
1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

2. They deny that Jesus (Logos-God) has come in the flesh, they deny His deity.
John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Now Hank. A person who rejects Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior by default deny the Trinitarian relationship of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. You can't affirm what you reject at the same time.

By rejecting Jesus Christ, you're rejecting His deity.

He is by definition, an anti-Christ.
Personally, I don't believe we can pass a biblical judgement of "antichrist" by deeds alone but these denials must also be verbally confirmed by the individual.

If I walk into a bathroom and see a man having sex with another man, by deed alone it is righteous to judge that person to be in sin.

If a person rejects Jesus Christ, by deed alone, he is by definition, an anti-Christ.

From his own testimony his relationship with God is vague:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...-wont-have-to-be-asking-for-much-forgiveness/

His exact words were : “I will be asking for forgiveness, but hopefully I won’t have to be asking for much forgiveness.” While this is not a good answer to Baptist persuasion folks it seems to suffice for "evangelicals" although there are some who are doubtful.

I'm not seeing it. He's a wicked, wicked man and it shines through like the sun coming up on Easter morning. Everything he does confirms who he is and what he is not.

OK for you however I personally cannot come to the conclusion that he is an anti-christ by his deeds alone.

Zaac's definition of "antichrist" focuses around opposition to Christ; thus, deeds that are in opposition to Christ's teachings are "antichrist." Trump's (and Hillary's, for that matter) actions indicate he and she are in opposition to Christ's teachings.

Hank's definition focuses around the biblical concept of false teachers; thus, teachings contrary to the bible, which lead others astray, are "antichrist." Trump is not attempting to lead anyone to a religion or religious believe other than Christianity.

I guess it depends on which definition you ascribe to.

That's why I've said it's simple idolatry. Folks care more about winning an election and what they think it will do than they do about doing things God's way and trusting HIM to do what only HE can do.

Obviously you are describing yourself, considering the number of posts you make about it. However, preferring one candidate over another is not the definition of idolatry.

1. Zaac, it would be embarrassing to the Democrats to have the Evangelical vote.

2. Evangelicals ain't what they used to be; the older generation is gone with the wind and the younger ones are more liberal and less likely to believe that Scripture is perfect.

3. Hillary says half of the GOP are deplorables, and she probably says that all whites are racists.
