What does Obama's religion have to do with politics. That's the title of this forum. I suppose you guys have so desecrated the Christian religion by combining it with politics that you can't tell where one ends and the other begins.

If a person misrepresents himself to get votes..... he's a fraud and a liar.

If people voted for him based upon his mis-representation then they were deceived.

If people are defending him and his policies because they believe he is guided by Christian principals and refuse to exam either him or those principals then they are hypocrites.

This question does two things: It exposes him and it exposes them.

This is a Christian sponsored forum for discussing politics and people in politics. What other place would you suggest this discussion take place?

You and others have been citing publically made statements by Obama about his faith. In what way did he misrepresent himself?

I'm not one to question anyone's faith, and I haven't in this thread.

But your comments are very disturbing.

You seem to think that it's just fine to separate one's "political life" from one's "Christian faith." You are aware, aren't you, that being a Christian permeates one's complete being, including one's political views?

Compartmentalizing one "part" of one's life from another is patently unscriptural. If you insist on defending that perspective, it reveals much about what you have to learn.

He must also exhibit certain things, not love murder of babies inside and out side the womb. BO is not a Christian, we can judge his actions. Satan believes to

Exhibit things? Do you have scripture to support that? I must not have read Rom 10:9 correctly.

Do you have scripture to support a pro life person can't be saved? Do you have scripture that says a mass murderer is any worse than a liar or a cheat? I believe we have all sinned and if you say you haven't you call God a liar.

Whether he's saved or not is God's business not ours.

Should we follow him as a Christian who knows the Lord just because of his claim? I think we need to be careful of following any man, whether he's Christian or not..... We should follow Jesus Christ who is the Lord..

I agree, only God knows the state of his salvation which is why I don't like seeing people here concluding they know what the Bible clearly says we don't.

Yes, we should follow him as our leader like we would any other secular leader. This is what the Bible teaches us to do. You would be justified in not following him if he asked you to do the abortions but as long as he is not asking you to do anything contrary to the Word of God then we should follow.

It is not a matter of what I like or not, who am I? I questioned you purely on the basis of God's Word. Who is saved or not is neither mine or yours to decide and God is clear on this in His Word. I won't judge his actions because we are told to Judge not lest we be judged.

Sorry to break the news but because someone does something you don't like doesn't mean he is not saved.

Untill recently, after replying several times in this thread, I openly admit that I had been unable to pull up the links which were posted. That said, however, heres the link which tells all..... and for those of you who have slow loading of videos.... the Word for word text is below each video:

Follow the Seven links on the left..... or, for a synopsis go to the news link under the 7

JC, I challenge you to reveiw each of these seven reasons. They contain the exact quotes of Obama regarding his understanding of the Christian faith and the Biblical rebuttal, which legitimizes the question.

If he states he's a Christian, but all other 'faith' statements of his speaks of his lack of understanding, then we cannot rely upon his guidance of Jesus Christ as Lord in the challenges he faces arising from his own nature or in the role of leadership for our nation. Contained within the seven reasons presented at this site are his revisions of representation concerning his background of faith when he authored some books, and his presentation as a candidate for President:

One hates to consider the obvious is likely, that he takes opportunity of using the Christian title to win recognition and votes....particularly from an impoverished and undereducated community of faith which is easily lead by such titles and often lacks access to more information which would steer their votes and support from following him on this reason. Not all who have been deceived by this man, were as knowingly deceived as the persons on this board who voted for him.
