And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
Whoa, what a misapplication of a Biblical passage. How do you figure that cause had anything to do with American politics?

Just thought it was fitting the way people seem to swoon over this mysterious guy from nowhere... with nothing but words, that he seems to contradict. (talking about campaign financing here)

He is anti biblical on most of his issues.. .abortion, gays, etc...
And even the very elect seem to be falling for his agenda.

So, I think this verse fits the situation...

If Obama wins the presidency, and right now, I see it being a pretty good chance... God has put him in there.. God appoints leaders.

God has a plan for the future..

That verse is not referring to politics.

Senator Obama has been around for a while. He has more legislative experience than Senator Clinton. There is plenty of substance. Just check out the issues section of his website if you want to know that there are more than words involved.

I went to his site and looked at his issues a couple weeks ago...

That is why I am adamantly opposed to him.

To be honest, I am scared for American Christians if he is elected as president.

He has the Charisma... and the youth, and the ability to produce change, but I am scared that the type of change he produces will come from the pits of Hell.

But this is my opinion.. and thoughts...

I hope you are right in someways Ken... I hope if he is elected he will make America better... but I somehow doubt it.

I feel the same way about the impact of a potential John McCain administration.

We as humans may prefer one party or candidate over the other, but my guess is that God thinks they are both defined equally by what Holy is not. To associate anything Divine or Holy to either party or any politician is an outrage to be nice about it.

The last 8 years will look like the Garden of Eden compared to the next 8 (?) after a liberal wins the top prize (which I DO anticipate); and even more so should they retain control of both houses.

A mosquito bite is a real irritation - until one is stung by a hornet!!

You've been irritated; you're about to be stung!!

Well, if in fact your statement is true... I want all the people that didn't listen to Ron Paul's message because he was a "Kook" or werid... And wanted to pull for Romney or Giuliani.... Now they have McCain and they are "preparing to loss"...

How sad is it when in American Politics you settle for the lessor of two evils.. he loses and then people want to cry and complain about who won the WH?

I am not saying you're one of the people crying, just responding to your post because it's the exact same thing we will hear for the next year.

The American People will get exactly what they asked for.. Good or Bad just like we did with Bush for two terms. Until we wake up and start electing someone worth while, we will continue down this path. Nothing new.. nothing has changed.

Nice, you want to start to follow me around the forums now... Good luck with your new hobby!

Besides, I never said we didn't have a choice.. God put on our heart what he wants us to know, feel, share.. With that, we can make an informed decision.. It's not like I am telling everyone to NOT vote because their vote doesn't matter.. Their vote does matter, God has cast his lot in our heart.

Have fun following....

Democrats want change, and they want it so bad...

Clinton represents the same ol same ol.... She is too "Washington"
Not enough change...

Obama, with his youth, Charisma, and being a newbie, is more what they are looking for...

There is a certain "energy" that spills out of Obama...

After the worst administration in American history isn't it natural to want change?

BBob,
Yeah, like your post count means anything... It only means you spend more time here than I, or have been a member longer.

You bought your opinion from one thread over to this one... that is why I called you for following me... Get off your high horse...... seniority mean nothing when one person can't let go from one thread and pulls it into another one.

I have finally gotten a handle on you... You just like pushing people's buttons... Maybe that is where the 10,000 posts come in...

Yep, I sure can push your button. Shouldn't let people inside your head that far.
