Having tribulation and being in the tribulation are not the same thing.

Just making sure you are not misunderstanding me. We are not in the great tribulation now, but in regular everyday tribulation in the world.
The great tribulation is not the same as the tribulation, although some believers seem to think they are the same thing, but scripture separates the 2.
Jesus said in John 16:33 in addressing His disciples in the present for when He will be crucified after they all been scattered
John 16:32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me. 33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. ~ KJV

Thanks for sharing, but since we are talking about tribulation in reference to the times we are living in as opposing the times of the great tribulation, it is in that regards for why we are in the tribulation now.

The reference to tribulation refers to the tribulation of Christians, whether persecution prior or during the “great tribulation”.

Uh no dont get tripped up on that word. The great tribulation is Gods wrath on this world. Daily tribulation from the enemy is entirely different
We are not in "the" tribulation. The church will not be a part of that as its nature is the wrath of God

Are you assuming when I post "the" tribulation that I am referring to the great tribulation? Because if you are, that is not what I meant. When I apply tribulation, it is not referring to the great tribulation at all. The tribulation is what we are in now when the falling away of the faith is happening in the times before the rapture when God judges His House first at the rapture.

The plain statement from scripture; "the great tribulation" is a long done deal:
1 for then shall be great tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever shall be.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all these things be accomplished. Mt 24
19 For those days shall be tribulation, such as there hath not been the like from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never shall be.
30 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, until all these things be accomplished. Mk 13
22 For these are days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23 Woe unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days! for there shall be great distress upon the land, and wrath unto this people.
32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all things be accomplished. Lu 21

You may discern with Him that when He refers to this generation, it will be regarding the generation of that time period as His words are to be applied to all believers until the set time is come for them to know when those things will happen..

Unbelieving Jews are not saved so how are His words relevant to being ready or else be left behind to His disciples if they were unbelieving Jews?

Scriptures has been shown in the OP. So why don't you address what they are really about rather than ignore them if you really believe the application of His words are fiction?

"His words" to His disciples were, "When you see...flee". Luke 21:20-21

So basically your contentions rests on Luke 21:20-21 then at the expense of all other scriptures?
Okay then. Let is address Luke 21st chapter.
Luke 21:5 And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said, 6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. 7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass? KJV
I see 2 questions mentioned here.
when shall these things be?
and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?
Compare that with the 3 questions that was written that was asked in Matthew 24th chapter for clarity.
Matthew 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. 2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. 3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? KJV
Tell us, when shall these things be? ~ when the Temple will be thrown down as Jesus had said.
and what shall be the sign of thy coming, ~ different from when the Temple will be thrown down.
and of the end of the world? ~ different from when He comes & different from the time the Temple be thrown down.
Discernment is needed for which answer Jesus is giving to which question since He is not giving them in chronological order. The same goes for Luke 21:7 because I believe He is answering the 2nd question first from 8 to19 about the signs of His coming & answering the first question in verses 20-24 about when the Temple be thrown down as the Jews will be scattered from Israel in 70 A.D. Then He goes back to answering the second question from Luke 21:25-36.
The thing you have to discern with Him is that not everything in what Jesus has said has happened at the time of the Temple falling in 70 A.D. in Luke 21st chapter. Note;
Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. ~ KJV
Has our redemption arrived yet? Has the Son of man come in cloud with power & great glory yet? So future yet still.
You should take pause, and read Matthew 24 & Luke 21 together with Him since wisdom is obviously needed to understand these prophetic sayings & apply them according to history & the reality we are in.
