Why was the KJV Bible given to Anglo Saxons Only?

You had to learn English, then relearn 17th century English. You weren’t born with these abilities.

--------------------------------------------------

The language in the KJB is NOT A FORIEGN LANGUAGE for it is our ENGLISH LANGUAGE. I did not need to relearn something I already knew/know.

Poor excuse Hank, to condone the counterfits.

It is not a RIGHT Dr. Bob, nor is it a CHOICE that we have. God provides, and we THANKFULLY ACCEPT. God REVEALS THIS to the believer. It is not something that one can choose of their own mind. You either have his authority, or you don't. There is no middle ground of compromise on this. You either believe it, live it, and share it or you deny it, reject it, and suffer the consequence of unbelief and doubt.
Many are just as convicted in the same manner concerning the NASB (for instance) and don’t need to issue veiled threats and innuendo of insult to others concerning those convictions.

If we do not have, nor think that we have God's pure word of truth, then we are believing lies and errors of men as our FINAL AUTHORITY.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That is correct such as calling God’s Passover after the name of a false goddess ishtar (easter).
--------------------------------------------------

The scriptures themselves, reveal that Luke was not speaking of Passover, but the Pagan religous day called Easter - which was when they ate the cakes/eucharist on the day they celebrated the resurrection of thier pagan Babylonian god. God has made this quite evident to us in the scriptures, if we rightly divide the word of truth, to which you all miserably fail to do.

God's word of truth has NO ERRORS.

Which KJV on the market today contains the “pure” words of God, the Oxford edition, the Cambridge or the Nelson and how do you know which it is?

Ask the Lord. He will reveal it to you.

The language in the KJB is NOT A FORIEGN LANGUAGE for it is our ENGLISH LANGUAGE. I did not need to relearn something I already knew/know.
When the Gospel first went out into the inhabited world, it was in a koine Greek a foreign language to most of the world.
People had knowledge of it, it was "common" and aimed at the average person, not classical or shakespearean with some ecclesiastic words thrown in for good measure by the "bishops" (who killed baptists thinking that they did "God a service").

Since you "know" it so well, why don't you tell me what the following means?

"Sith the noise of the bruit of this school hath reached to thee-ward, we trust that our concourse liketh you well-particularly those who blaze abroad that there is error here. Whoso setteth thee against us-whoso saith we offend all-speaketh leasing. We be not affrighted, but withal, we are straightened in our bowels. We knoweth well that what thou wilst hear straightway wilt fast close up thy thoughts. With some we be abjects, some have defied us; but there has been no daysman betwixt us. They subvert the simple!"

I have not veiled anything. I share with you the truth. Take it or leave it. It wasn't meant to insult anyone. If the truth I share is insulting to one personally, maybe that should tell you something.

Not the "truth" but the judgments you pass on others tells me something.

This again, is a very poor excuse for <attack on Word of God snipped>.

The problem with that assertion is that it is not 17th century King's English that is the most widely spoken western language. It is American Business English. Also, the language most spoken by the world is not English at all, but Chinese.
in the midst of the persecution of believers by the Church of England, the Gospel has encircled the globe literally, not just the known world but the entire world.

Most of this is credited to the Geneva, not the KJV. It was, for example, the Geneva Bible that the pilgrims carried to the US colonies.

Would that also include the Geneva, the Dutch Pulpit Bible, and the Santa Biblia? There's no scriptural support for you statement whatsoever. Additionally, by that same litmus test, then the KJV is also scholarshipism.

michelle, IMO, you are for the most part unaware of the real problem of the flood of bad (or "mean" in the language of the KJV men) translations of the Bible

The KJVO movement is a counterfeit solution to the real problem.

The rant, rave, tatrums, the accusations and judgments of these self-appointed "defenders of the Bible" have done nothing to address the real problem.

It is a smoke screen of the evil one.

Michelle, your elitist KJVO attitude is totally unacceptable to many here, and is "offensive" in the fact that you try to make it look as if you have the only truth, which you do not, friend. You are misled. You keep posting the same circular reasoning with no proof. That is why most don't take you seriously here. You practically put yourself in the place of the "MOST HIGH" with your elitist attitude. You won't address issues, which makes you less credible, and are flippant on the issues you feign addressing. The truth can be found just as much in the NIV as it can be in the KJV. The truth can be found just as much in the NASB as the KJV. You're continual misrepresentation of the version of Bible that someone uses is counterproductive and demeaning to other brothers and sisters in Christ, yet you sign your posts "love in Christ Jesus". That is not love. That is ignorance on your part and is damaging not only to others spiritual walks, potentially damaging to anyone who is unsaved that reads those kinds of answers in the fact that it may turn them from Christ, and damaging most of all to your own credibility.

And HOW IS IT that you KNOW God did this:

"He chose Hebrew for the OT and Greek for the NT".

Did a little birdie come and tell you this, and whisper this in your ear? IF God so chose ONLY the Hebrew and the Greek, how then is it that we have God's word of truth in our own language today? How is it then, that you can determine that God CHOSE NOT TO USE ENGLISH to spread the gospel?

--------------------------------------------------
Do you KJVOs believe that God does not reveal His word to non-English people unless they read the KJV?
--------------------------------------------------

Hint: Take of the label of KJV, and look at what is within the pages from Gen.1-Rev.22:21. There you will find the word of God in the English language.
Asking me if it was a little birdie is pretty condescending, Michelle. I would think someone like you who is always quoting the Bible would be more sisterly.

Are you saying that they spoke English in Israel? They spoke Hebrew and Aramaic. The manuscripts that we do have and that were used for the earliest Bibles were mostly Hebrew for the OT and Greek for the NT.

I really want to know: are you saying that Jesus spoke King James English and the writers of the NT wrote down his words in King James English? Help me understand.

Also, you did not answer my question. Do you believe that people in other countries must study English in order to read God's word? That is not a hard question; please answer.

Michelle has now elevated herself to the position of the only one on the forum that rightly divides the Word of God. All of us others are beyond hope. None of us, especially the moderators whom she so often attacks (including Dr. Bob who has YEARS of education that Michelle could never have behind her) are uneducated, unbelievers. I take offense at this kind of an attack from her. I am requesting an apology from her for her continued un-Christlike attacks on others here, too.
