I don't believe that Holder made the decision without Obama's approval.

No doubt.

It's a huge mistake by the Obamanites and will do immeasurable damage to the nation as a whole.

KSM may not even make it to trial on any one of several technicalities. Even if he does, he won't be the one on trial. Any good defense attorney will instead put the United States, the Bush administration, the CIA , and our armed forces on trial.

A circus, if there ever was one.

I believe that is Obama's intent!

How? We've had trials and convictions in high profile trials throughout this nation's history.

We haven't had world wide communications throughout history. We haven't had so many in this country who want to see its demise throughout history.

Lots of things are "entirely possible".

For instance, it is entirely possible that a bird fly overhead and poop on you sometime this week. :)

Not really! I always carry an umbrella!:laugh:

Also I doubt that it is entirely possible you will ever stop defending Obama!

Since these enemy combatants did not commit any crime on U.S. soil, why should they be granted the rights of American citizens? Also, if these men were not in an enemies uniform at the time of there there terrorist act, why should they be given any rights at all? Shouldn't they be treated like a spy during wartime and be executed by the military?

While the details were not this obvious, I personally believe that any discerning observer could have forecast that something akin to this mockery of justice was inevitable, simply by looking at the "0"'s compadres PRIOR to his attaining the highest office in this once proud and sensible land!!!

His every action since election have reinforced this belief.

We'uns is in fer a rough ride, y'all!! Better make sure your seat belt is latched!!!

(Just one more proof of my sig line.)

All this just proves that last November about 52% of the voters were dumber than Joe the plumber, including some on this Forum!:laugh::laugh::laugh:

Somewhere along the way from the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation, and the Constitution we have come from plainly recognizing the different between murder and killing in war; between warriors fighting honorably and pirates, spies, terrorists, and the like; between civil and criminal law and the laws of war; between willfully granting quarter to vanquished enemies, properly handling lawful combatants, and requiring "due process" in civil court for all manner of those who attack our nation. We need to ponder history a lot more clearly and get back on the right track before it is to late!

We do not need to assume that those who support Obama's position on this actually believe this is the best way to handle this. The reality is they are sympathetic to terrorists even if they do not condone their act.
