You think I should answer as a calvinist but my answers are from the bible so they do not fit your particular view.

Why is it you are able to humble yourself before God and others are not able?

You seem to assume that others are not able. That is an errant view that comes form your calvinist misunderstanding of free will. All are able to either humble themselves or to remain in the prideful ways they make the choice that is what free will means.

I know that does not fit your particular view but it is biblical.

The more accurate form of that statement is; The Ruah spoke to my spirit. And acctually He corrects and communicates with unlimited fashion and is heard and witnessed by those look for where Yehovah God is working.
