Gay people already have every right that I do. But now they want us to create "special" rights by bending our morals to accomodate thier perverted lifestyle.

There is no evidence that Iran is attempting to build a nuclear weapon.

It was Ahmadinejad who stated hateful words toward Israel, not Iran. When President Bush says something that does not equal these United States saying it.

That is true Ken, and for that reason I am glad we have taken no action so far. However, we must have a plan and be ready if he does find a way to carry it out.

I continually see this statement "I am not voting for a Pastor". While you are free to have the view you wish and make the posts you wish it is a curious statement. It seems to be made to protect themselves from having to hold the office of the President to certain moral issues.

But then they are willing to hold the current President to other ccertain moral issues i.e. war, treatment of the poor, healthcare, etc. It is as if it is justifyable to hold to a few hand picked issues (all issues are of a moral nature) and be released from others.

Issues such as the murder of unborn children is not a denominational nor is it a church issue. Niether is homosexulaity, aiding the poor, or name your flavor. All law is based on morality and all issues are moral ones.

It is an odd thing to attempt to separate a political view from a Christian view as if one can just set aside their Christianity to conduct political business.

I am not a Bush supporter on many of his issues....like prolonging the war, border security, the tax rebates....I think he is wrong all all of these. But I do believe that he is doing what he percieves to be right, and most of all, he is not forcing immoral social legislation on us (meaning Christians).

And, as far as attacking Iran......only if Iran attacks us or one of our allies, especially Isreal. That there is the problem. Iran has promised to "wipe Isreal off the face of the world", so it is imperative that they dont acquire nuclear weapons. They will use them when and if they do. Its for this reason, their determination to destroy Isreal, that I believe that war with Iran is coming, someday, hopefully not soon.

I agree. Gay people should be afforded the same rights as other Americans. This is one reason I favor same-sex unions for gays if they so choose.

This is contradictory. "Other Americans" do not have the right to same sex unions. So giving this "right" to homosexuals will not give them equal rights. Right now, gays have the same rights as everyone else, including the right to marry. A homosexual can marry just like any other American can.

If you support abortion and homosexuality, then you are going against God.

I have a gay sister-in-law. She has made the choice to live a life that goes against God's principles...but at least she is not a liar. She admits that she is sinning and that she will have answer to God, but she says this is what she wants to do.

If you want to support homosexuality, at least dont try to convince us it is a "Godly" institution, because it is not, and if you have read your Bible, then you know it is not.

Why did you turn the question around on me? And ask if I was a Christian? I am, and have been for many years. I struggle every day to act like a Christian, but I dont promote things that I know God says is an "abomination". You are the one who professes to endorse ungodly lifestyles on here.

You do jump to conclusions, don't you. I never said I "supported" homosexuality. I said I support a persons right to live at they please. Just because I don't agree with someones choice doesn't give me the right to make their decision for them.
