I don't see that church as being same as Catholic,Baptist, saved, but with wrong history beliefs!
I think that each religious New Testament organization has one primary objective and that is to both worship Christ as Lord & Savior & all of these groups have varying degrees of doctrine so there is tribalism. All have strong beliefs that they all contend are biblical. Well we also know that interpretation plays a large part but I personally do not feel that we should not dialog with each other. There will be more in heaven that you or I can fathom.

Open/closed communion is a preference/conviction, NOT a proof of real church!

I guess one could make a similar analogy about infant baptism.

Open, close, closed communion has been a test of fellowship for many years. It cannot be any/all of the above.

Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

One of the major problems with the Church at Corinth was they had corrupted The Supper. They were failing to discern the Lord's Body, The Church, local and visible. The universal church does not fit the bible pattern of a New Testament Church at any juncture. Add a little transubstantiation and have a real dilemma.

Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

As a former Catholic, there were two passages that opened my eyes. 1Timothy 3 and Titus 1 where they discuss the qualifications of a bishop. It even gave my mother, the die-hard Cuban-Catholic cause to pause and think. However, I don't think she really came to any conclusion and died lost.

Always interesting to me that we deny a Christia communion due to them not being of "like mind" same church, yet Jesus accepts them at the table!

Does this mean Jesus accepts transubstantiation, consubstantiation and other doctrines apostate? What is the criteria for a valid communion?

Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

Well maybe not the same church, the same dogma, the same traditions but at the heart, theirs is the the same love for Christ, the same agenda that Christ imposed the same criteria to love the Lord your God with all your heart & soul ...then to love your neighbor as yourself. These are the two greatest commandments that need to be adhered to.

Need to be saved, and walking in a way you should be in order to have real communion!
