Woman on the Board

Pure Words (?)

What a load of manure !!

Here goes... Women do not create life, women are given the gift and responsibility for gestating the new life that God has created at conception.

Since you've gotten your main point so wrong, I'll assume that you don't know what you're talking about in the rest of your assertions.

1 Tim 2:
8 I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

1) Who said this passage only refers to the local church? It does not. The context does not teach that!

2) Women were created FOR MAN. God did not mess up. he knew what he was doing. The right Godly woman is a gift of God to a man. I thank God every day for the woman He gave me. I am unworthy. Still, that does not mean that this vile ideology that men and women are equal is of God.

1 Peter 3
7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered

Women are the weaker vessel. They are still heirs together... but they are the weaker vessel. ***attack removed***

Might I remind you that you are parked in front of your own "idiot box" and posting at a brisk pace, I might add.

I haven't seen anyone on here joking about white male christians as you assert. You show your true colors though when you express a desire to see jokes about "blacks, women and queers" though.

Your ideals of christianity are frightening, and frankly, I am glad yours is a dying breed.

Ok. a WOMAN concieves and bares the seed. NO MAN can do that. Despite what some of the fruits may think Adam and Steve cannot make a baby! That is my point.

Matthew 23:24
Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.

Don't assume. If I am wrong say so. *** attack removed***

Are you trying to set a record for being banned with the fewest posts ?

I feel bad for the women who are reading this garbage, it's not how every man feels.

Ye blind guides
Romans 2:1Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself;

Matthew 15:14Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

Sorry son... I don't know who hurt you so badly that you are doing this here (elsewhere?) but I do know that I will not follow your blind rage. Please go to your pastor and deacons for some much needed biblical counseling.

God help you Pure Words.

So, Pure Words, does that mean woman can post here, or do you think they should keep their "yapper" shut when it comes to participating in Biblical discussions here on the board?

Just for the record, as a born and raised California blonde, I think the blonde jokes (about women always I think) are fun!

But the idea of who gets joked about really has nothing to do with the opinions of different people about women posting here, does it?

Or am I being too disagreeable?

I am not "scared of women." I simply point out that all this crap about men and women being equal is NOT BIBLICAL.

If anyone dares to say something like that today people CROAK!

This used to be common knowledge and common sense. It is true that once what was common (sense, knowledge, decency, etc.) is no longer common.

I will shock everyone here.....

I love jokes. Good jokes. Jokes about blondes, gays, homeless, blacks, whites, bald men, straight people, rich people, foreigners, preachers, military personel, disabled, it doesn't matter. A joke is a joke, and everyone who tells a joke, or even laughs at a joke, is not a mysoginist, racist, homophobe, or anything else.

But this comment....

Maybe if you spent less time in front of the idiot box inhaling all the fumes from the world and devil and stopped trying to build a "one-world" society where the only sin is "discrimination" you could handle the truth.

Doesn't sound like a joke to me. You need help.

Pure Words, now that a few more posting have gone by I have to ask what the source of all this is, you seem to have changed your focus to white, male, straight, christians being mocked.

Has that happened to you, or do you just see it going on all around you and are frustrated by it?

What's the bottom line here? Help us try to help you...

I am scarred for life. Now I make it my mission in life to inflict unneccessary pain on others. I particularly like to inflict emotional pain. :D

The thing that concerns me as a Bible-believing, born-again Christian is that our entire culture, even those who claim to know Christ, is fleeing Biblical principles to be culturally relevant.

That is what God warned about many times in the Scriptures.

It is Biblically true that men and women are not the same. They are NOT equal. Men are to be the leaders in the home, church, and nation. No matter what Oprah or Donahue spue.

Women are to be meek and quiet and in subjection to men.

Women are not meaningless creatures--but they are NOT equal to men. Why does simply saying this make people freak out????

The moderator will come shortly and explain how things work on the Baptist Board. Until then, I will not longer speculate on your shortcomings.
