This is jus sick. You think sexual acts on 14 year olds by 30 year olds is legal and acceptable? This is why I'm starting to believe Roy Moore is toxic. He's turning conservatives into little James Carvilles.

Pull in your horns, Junior.

You're out of line.

Since there is no record of Jesus voting, I would not attempt to do such a thing.

Since Jesus never voted in any political process you take the position that your views and actions concerning political voting gets to be dismissed from being judged by God and God's Word??

maybe David Lipscomb had it right in his treatise, “On Civil Government”, that Christians should have nothing to do with the political process.

Who's David Lipscomb? Is he an Apostle for Jesus Christ? I would not base my beliefs or actions upon anyone except for those God chose to speak for Him as Scripture. I don't think at the Judgment Seat of Christ we will be hearing from Christ "well Lipscomb did say". But we may hear Jesus say "well, Paul did say, Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God."

All people have dirt, but not all have sexual predation in their past, particularly against teens. My biggest problem with this is comparing him to Clinton and attacking his accusers that way Clinton's accusers were attacked. There's no real difference except maybe their age. The women seem every bit as credible as Clinton's accusers.
Seem like low class politically motivated hookers to me.

Out of line? You arrogantly defend sexual acts against 14 and 16 year olds as "legal," and I'm out of line. ;)

BTW, I'm not condemning people who think Roy Moore is innocent. But if you defend the acts themselves there's something seriously wrong with you.

The main reason there is a statute of limitations is because with the passing of much time, it becomes impossible to defend onesself.

I fully support a man's right to defend himself. But I have compassion for young women abused by predators and understand their initial silence.

I also understand people lie. My career in law enforcement led me to believe EVERYONE is lying until proven otherwise.

You're making yourelf look like a complete idiot.

You can go back and do a little remedial reading or continue to act like a fool.

Your choice, I'll explain nothing. It's all in the thread.

I'm sure you came across those telling the truth also. What does your gut tell in this case about both the accusers and Roy Moore? I know you don't know, just curious what you're instincts tell you.

Now you're defensive and lashing out. The correct response is, "I misspoke, let me clarify....." That would be the grown up thing to do. Or you can dig in. You pick.

The timing suggests they are not being fully truthful. I came across plenty telling the truth. I at all times kept in mind that the accuser, not the accused, had the burden of proof. The accused has no burden to prove innocence.

Whether true or not the DIMS are getting their desired response with these "perfectly timed" accusations!
The rhinos almost immediately jumped on the bandwagon for Moore to remove himself from the race, which makes me wonder(?) how much, if any, they contributed to this political fiasco!!
Like has been said by a FEW, it's Alabama's problem -- let them solve it!!

And by the way, one poster said that Christians should not be involved in politics ; I propose that if Christians HAD been involved more in the past, we WOULD NOT BE IN OUR PRESENT PREDICAMENT!!

Gotcha. My biggest issue with this whole things is timing, but I know that's the product of WaPo and other political hacks.

I "misspoke" nothing.

You either haven't read everything or you like looking foolish.

Im hard pressed to understand the alleged silence to be honest with you. Could you explain it?

"initial silence" and I'm speaking generally. I get the frustration of accusations occurring years later to spoil elections. But I also get the fear some women feel which compels them not to speak out initially.

Call me a fool til you're blue in the face, I don't care. I took your comment the same way others did. And if you say you didn't misspeak, that confirms my initial thoughts.
