Thank you Jailminister. I am sorry it took so long to get back to you on this.

My point is that, although the playing of the organ at church is a parttime job, it is a job that I do away from the home. You had stated that it was ok for women to work as long as they stayed at home to do it or at least that it how I interpreted what you said.

Gina's original question was about childless women taking on roles of leadership. I am not childless, but my children are grown.

Although I do not need your approval to do any kind of work, it is interesting how you interpret what is right and wrong according to scripture.

Gina, I see nothing wrong with a childless woman taking on roles of leadership. In fact, I see nothing wrong with any woman taking on roles of leadership.

I remember as a child I'm not sure we would have had a church if the women had not taken on roles of leadership. I was very young during World War II, but women had to step forward to take care of the home front.

I will say again that no woman should feel guilty if it is necessary for her to work outside the home.

Playing The piano at church should be part of the family. It is not a "job". It also has nothing to do with leadership. I know you don't need my permission and it is your choice. Just make sure it lines up with the Word of God. Now women can lead other women, but just not the man.

If a woman got elected to the House of Representatives or the Senate in your district or state, would you move?

For that matter, if a woman was elected to the local city or town council, or elected to the board of supervisors, school board, or appointed/elected judge in the disctrict, would he move? If his company had hired a woman to a management position, would he quit?

He's already said he disapproves of women in law enforcement.

Now guys, don't be silly. What I believe is based on the Word Of God. Don't criticize me unless you are wanting to rebute God's word. As long as we live in this present world, we will always have to try to live in it. I am sure that there are some adulterers and drunks and liars and sodomites that are elected officials from my city, county, state and country. So far I haven't moved. The bible is not written to the world because the world can not understand it, it is written for the child of God. Jesus did not die for the world, He died for those who were His. Does that mean we can't witness to the world? NO. But we are not going to save the world either. If anyone has ears to hear they have no problem with the scriptures.

We're not rebuking the Word of God. We're rebuking your interpretation of it. They are not the same thing.

The gospel is for the entire world. They may not understand the Bible until they come to know Christ, but we must realize that many parts of the Bible are written specifically for the unbelieving world.

Jesus did not die for the world, He died for those who were His.

He is the propitiation not just for our sins, but for the WHOLE WORLD. The Bible is quite clear that Jesus died for the world. His blood is applicable for those who are His.

If anyone has ears to hear they have no problem with the scriptures.

I certainly have no trouble with the Word of God. My beef is with your incorrect interpretation of it. The two just aren't the same thing.

It is not my interpretation that you have the problem with, it is your misinterpretaion. You can't even understand what I post, much less the Bible. I don't like the baby killers, but I am not told to go out and kill them. All humans are made in the "image and likeness" of God. All humans are made as "very good" creations. All humans are "crowned with glory and honor", and created "a little lower than the angels".

No humans are the seed of Satan, because Satan has created no humans.

Matt 13:9 reads, He who has ears, let him hear.

Matt 13 talks about sowing and producing fruit. It says nothing about the point you're attempting (and failing) to make.
