Yep....The shape of the hips are going to be seen no matter what you wear...</font>
Are you saying that skirts are just as revealing as jeans? That's ridiculous. Seen a jean commercial lately?

I never see (long, loose-fitting) jean skirts advertised the way jean trousers are advertised. Those kind of skirts just don't lend themselves to that kind of enticement.

So, the question remains, are women who reveal the shape of their hips wearing pants being modest?

Seven-of-Nine on Star Trek, and the new Vulcan commander on Enterprise wear full-body suits, but they are tight and form-fitting. Is this modest?

In the good ol'days, I always tried to catch a parade or two on this day while waiting for the final touches on the meal...it's been a loooong time, I guess, since I've seen a parade, or even watched tv, for that matter!

I was absolutely mortified with what I saw! I reckon that "learned me" real quick to stay in the kitchen!

Bro.Aaron~I pray your wife will soon toss the pants for good! What a wonderful difference it has made in my life! ;)

Ransom,
I think that is unfair to say that only women who wear potato sacks with styrofoam are modest. Do you actually know anyone who dresses that way?

I have said it over and over here that there are ways to dress modest that are not the same as wearing potato sacks.

To Aaron,

I am not a man and I know all men are different but I would guess that most men are visually stimulated by the site of a woman in pants. They get to see the outline of the females anatomy much better than they could with a loose fitting dress. Pants outline not only the shape of the hips but the legs as well.

I recognize that some men will lust no matter what the woman is wearing. But, isn't it possible that pants are more visually stimulating to men than dresses are because of the fact that they outline the shape most clearly?

You tell me, you are a man.

I think you made a good point about advertising too. When was the last time in this sex saturated culture that we have seen a woman in a long loose dress selling something. I personally do not watch tv, so I could be wrong. Maybe there are some ads like this, but I doubt there are too many. If there are I am truly interested in hearing about them.

I think pants on a woman are quite all right,
But modesty is when they are not too tight!

189 posts - I just had to chime in. :D

We are all just real sexual beings, aren't we? :D

I know I am a woman, but, I don't care if a man is fully clothed, modest or immodest, there is a type of guy that I like, and if he walks in the room fully clothed, he is a turn on. I think we are getting too caught up on pants here.

My wife read this thread with me tonight and she had a comment.

She said, "Oh, please. I don't know what planet he lives on, but there would be no need for the command to 'flee youthful lusts' if this wasn't an issue."

That's from my wife.

From Laura (my wife):

The biggest reason there is such a violent reaction everytime the issue of modesty is raised is because folks are NOT interested in being told that something they may allow is wrong.

Of course. That's why they're considered sexy. It's no secret, and you don't need to be a man to know that.

The producers of Star Trek dressed Seven and the Vulcan (I forget her name) in tight, form-fitting costumes to provide sex-appeal.

</font>
I agree with you, but of course it is better for men to say it than me. I know when I wore tight pants in the past I was doing it for male attention and nothing else.

And BTW, I enjoyed perusing your homepage that you listed in your profile. You have done alot of research and I would like to read more at a later date.

I have decided that most of my life has been spent missing the things vital to life; woman in trousers (you see, pants in England refer to ladies undergarments, and I presume you all wear those, yet I have never seen them).

To-morrow, I shall take up my post on the main street of my village and do a poll on woman wearing trousers.

Sexual matters begin in the mind, and if one allows his mind to wander, I should think it wouldn't matter wot the woman was wearing or wasn't wearing. Good heavens, in Victorian times, the ladies wore gowns to the floor and fully covered except their bosoms were busting out all over. Some modesty!

Cheers, and whatever you do, do all unto the Lord.......He will be pleased, and you will be rewarded.

Thankful

I am curious, please tell us how wearing only dresses has made a wonderful difference in your life.

I would like to know more about this.

This is terrible, but this is the truth.

I don't wear slacks that much any more. In fact, I rarely wear them. Like, this year, I may have worn slacks a total of three weeks out of 52. I wear dresses the rest of the time.

(well, except on weekends and down time when I wear shorts and sweats.)

I feel more feminine and sexy in a dress.

Adam said: Let your wife know that I live on the planet earth, and that I am capable (actually have trained myself) of looking away from woman immodest clothing. It does indeed say flee youthful lusts. As Christians we should be doing that.

Then you must agree that it is easier to look away from women in long, loose skirts than it is to look away from babes in form-fitting jeans. Or when interacting it is easier to focus on the countenance of the girl in a loose, long skirt than in form-fitting jeans--that is if you really are on planet earth.

As HCL said, "I know when I wore tight pants in the past I was doing it for male attention and nothing else."

Levi-Strauss knows it too.

Then there are loose pants and tight fitting skirts....

Now repeat your questions, Aaron... using these items of clothing! :D

My next-door neighbour is a United Pentecostalist, and they preach about dresses only for their women......Well, I never saw anything more disgusting that this woman riding the tractor with her legs spread apart and dress raised to free her feet from the pedals of the tractor,,or lying under a wagon displaying everything to whoever wants to look......jeans,,tight fitting or not would have been more honourable to the God I know than all those foolish dresses. They are the laughing stock of the village, and what kind of testimony is that???

Lets move along and get on with the things that matter.

Cheers,

Jim

Saggy Woman,
That is not terrible, it is wonderful that you are wearing more dresses and noticing the difference in how much more feminine you feel.

To Jim,
That is disgusting what you have explained. From your description this woman does not know how to sit properly.

Does she have to do the under the car thing. Is there not a gentlemen near by who could assist her?

That is feminine AND sexy.

But sometimes I feel sexy in my big dog boxers, too.
