If you don't see repentance as praise, we cannot continue this discussion. It's on 30 pages anyway...

You know, I don't really think he cares that there's a difference between worship and praise. I think he's just looking for an excuse to put people down who don't have the same opinions he has.
Still living in the glass house, eh? I would care if there was a difference, but there isn't one. They are two sides of the same coin.

That is not what repentance is, it's a change of mind.

Do you not know the difference between metanoia and metamelomai?

I have no idea what the "glass houses" comment is supposed to mean, but they're still two different things.

I do...one is a change of mind, another a change of heart...both have the same meaning.

No, they're not the same thing. One means to change your mind. The other means to stop doing what you're doing and turn around.

You have called me rude and immature on more than one occasion...yet your behavior is just that.

And yet, every time you've made this accusation, I've asked you to show an example of my having done this. You've yet to come up with even one example.

Maybe you just aren't seeing the bigger picture, but when you do the above, you are worshiping God (not the object of the praise).

No, when I praise God, I'm praising God. When I worship God, I'm worshipping God.

Source for that definition?

My source is the examples given in passages such as DHK has quoted.

Let me ask you a question: We praise people all the time. We praise our children for a job well done. We praise our pets for peeing on the newspaper. But by your logic, does that mean that we worship them as well?
