Actually I don't want to leave my vehicle sit along the road
for 3 days, but when it breaks down and I walk home in the
middle of the night, in the dark, amongst the mountain lions,
like I did last spring, it CAN sit there and not be vandalized
by my neighbors.
Ha ha. You have any spare acreage?
Ya, lots, but it's all down along the peaceful river that is surrounded
by wildlife, trees and flowers in the hill land and there would be
no one around to keep you company or to help you build that
cabin with a fireplace from the native timber that is on the place.
Your boys would also be playing in the great outdoors and fishing
in the river while climbing trees and shooting slingshots. I'm sure
you would be overcome with boredom while tending your flock of
chickens and raising garden.

I'm KNOW you wouldn't be interested in that lifestyle.

Hothead,

I used to live on 20 acres in virgin east Texas. I grew up playing in the mud, swinging from trees, catching frogs, and lizzards.

While my Mom tended the chickens and rabbits, and my dad had an obsession with his dirt under the rabbits.

We had a well, and public electricity, but we were OUT THERE. 40 miles from town. 10 from the highway.

It was great.

I never got bored.

(this thread was dying anyway)

God Bless
