"Move to the Moon" I believe is from the "The Robe" album by Wes King... which also boasts such Christian anthems as "I Believe", and "The Robe." Why don't you sink your bias into those songs?

No, you don't understand. It doesn't work unless he chooses songs that support his bias.Originally posted by Joshua Rhodes:

"Shuttle for Mike! Shuttle for Mike!"If he were to choose one of those songs or one like "By His Wounds", rather than one in 100 or so which don't deal with an explicitly Christian theme, he's have to admit that he's going on bias.
Thats the problem Joshua, the Lord hasn't directed anyone to use music to reach the lost. Give place to the Word of God.I'll use anything, anyone, and any kind of music to reach others for Christ, as long as He directs me to do so.
I agree. That's one of the reasons why I quit responding to him altogether.Originally posted by JonathanDT:
Joshua, don't waste your breath. Enda is a legalist. He believes what he believes, and a personal visit from Paul himself wouldn't change what he believes.
Ironic, isn't it?And ignore his "holier then though" act, he gets some sort of kick out of being spirtitually superior to everyone else.
Thank you. I am continuing to pray that God will change your attitude amd heal you of this anger you have.Originally posted by enda:
Mike, I'm still praying for you.
The Bible is silent on the issue of musical styles. There is not one one shred Scriptural evidence to support the notion music can in and of itself be sinful.Originally posted by enda:
And as usual not a verse of Scripture between them.
If you make assertions that you are incapable of defending, you are indeed only pretending to have the depth of knowledge to support your claims. I didn't take you for one so shallow. I now know better.Originally posted by enda:
Travelsong, Aaron has debated you repeatedly on this same issue, I wouldn't pretend to have the depth of knowledge that he has in this area.
Yet you retain the right to initiate confrontation with the intent to goad others into an argument?Originally posted by enda:
With respect, I won't be goaded into an argument here,
But aside from vague generalities (like 'being of the world' which is never explained)it doesn't address why you consider rock music (or any other form of music) to be sinful. Nor do you quote Scripture which supports your assertion that music is capable of being sinful.Originally posted by enda:
you've read my original post, it provides you with an adequate description of where I stand on 'Rock music in the Church'.
Then refrain from passing judgement if you cannot support your judgements.Originally posted by enda:
I have nothing else I want to add to this.
While I am certainly capable of providing evidence which shows you can in fact be an entirely different person in personal messages, you cannot show anything I've said to you in private which contradicts my arguments here.Originally posted by enda:
You say you are clear on your position, well honestly, the travelsong I see on the open threads and the travelsong I see in my personal messages seem to be two different people.
I'm beginning to think you have serious psychological problems.Originally posted by enda:
You shouldn't be so concerned about disagreeing with Mike and Jonathon, I'm sure they wouldn't hold it against you if they knew your true position on music.
