I would still respect the government mandate and do what I can do to save lives in my own little thing such as wearing a mask.

This study is about influenza but the way the two are spread are almost identical.
But here is a quote of note from the article:
Although mechanistic studies support the potential effect of hand hygiene or face masks, evidence from 14 randomized controlled trials of these measures did not support a substantial effect on transmission of laboratory-confirmed influenza.

Regardless of whether I have been vaccinated I would not eat at this restaurant. There are no vaccine Nazis for any other vaccine. I will not placate fascists.
As an aside, masks are just a placebo. Unless you are wearing a genuine N95 mask that creates a seal around your nose and mouth, you are not protected against any virus. These draconian measures have always been about control over the population. Oh, and I am not a COVID denier. Nor am I an anti-vaxer. I have no problem with people choosing to be vaccinated. In fact, people with multiple co-morbidities probably should consider the vaccine. But until the vaccines for COVID have been fully vetted through normal clinical trials, and their long term efficacy against the virus (and mutations) validated, all we are seeing is a control grab by all levels of government.

I disagree with your last sentence. Research Dr Francis Collins comments on the process of testing these vaccinations. Dr Collins is a Christian and is extremely meticulous in his science. He led the human genome project and it was in that research where he met God and Jesus. He is a person of integrity. I trust what he says. He is not about a "power grab."
Good morning, sir. My response is not about a "He" or any person in particular. I stand by what I said. The three vaccines that are currently in use have not been fully vetted. We do not know the long term side effects. You do not rush a vaccine to market in mere months and then proclaim that it is safe without having long term data to prove it. Government at all levels in definitely using this as a method of control. The President is using fear to force compliance with threats of serious consequences for those who choose not be vaccinated. If the vaccine is that effective, why does a vaccinated person care if another person is or is not vaccinated? I am not suggested the vaccines were motivated by conspiracy. Our government is not that bright. However, power grabbers in government are using Saul Alinksy tactics to vaccines and masks in order to control others. I am convinced of it.

Exactly, there is no possible way to know long term effects of the vaccines because the vaccines are not even a year old themselves.
The precise reason that, had my Dr & RN wife not recommended it, I would NOT have gotten it.
However, because of their advice, AND the fact that I'm 84, I submitted. My logic was that if IF I had a bad reaction, I've lived a full life and I'm ready to continue my journey to meet Christ face-to-face should that be inevitable.
As you say, as young as this vaccine is, there is absolutely NO WAY the long term effects can be known!!!

Again, you have not paid attention to the detail that Dr Collins has required from the producers of these vaccines before he would allow their approval to be used. He has required exacting science and diligent recording before approval. I trust his judgment. You are free to distrust it if you wish.

And you are not paying attention to the detail that he said we do not know the long-term effects. The vaccines are on emergency approval, not full approval.
We don't know the long term effects of many things. We live by faith and entrust ourselves to God. We do not walk in fear. Either get the vaccine or don't. The choice is between you and your God.

I agree with your first sentence, but not your second. The science backs up getting the vaccine.

You don't trust God to keep you safe without a vaccine, but you trust Him to make the vaccine safe?
