Blame that on the left.Sucks that wearing a mask became a political stance.
Martin Luther, in dealing with a plague, wrote this:You don't trust God to keep you safe without a vaccine, but you trust Him to make the vaccine safe?
No. Blame that on unrepentant Christians who selfishly couldn't care less about other humans. It is the mark of Pharisees.Blame that on the left.
It was always political.Sucks that wearing a mask became a political stance.
This is a flat out lie and you should repent.No. Blame that on unrepentant Christians who selfishly couldn't care less about other humans. It is the mark of Pharisees.
Careful, you are actually bringing science into this. I do notice that the mask champions IGNORED the fact I posted a link from the CDC that flat out said masks are ineffective overall.I am sick and tired of the fallacious argument that my decision to wear/not wear a mask displays my disdain for other believers. I actually sell masks as part of my PPE line. When COVID-19 first became a thing we had a meeting with 3M. 3M has a library of test data on all sorts of masks. When it comes to masks, 3M is best known for their N95 mask which has been tested to remove 95% of particulate matter. Prior to COVID-19 the mask was most commonly used in commercial businesses like body shops. The N95 masks creates a seal around the nose and mouth of a person when it is worn properly. The Chinese KN95 mask makes the same 95% particulate matter reduction claim, but 3M has proven that claim is false because the mask does not create a seal. The blue masks you see a lot of people wear? They are type I civil masks. The were designed to catch large droplets from sneezes or coughs. They do not not stop vapors from escaping or entering the respiratory system. 3M did a test with colored gas to simulate human respiration and the effectiveness of the filtering component of type I civil masks between two people six feet apart. The results showed that nearly 95% of the gas escaped the person exhaling and the type I civil masks had negligible effect on in the inhalation by the other person. This was per breath.
What about the cloth and polyethylene masks that people wear? You know, the one's people supposedly clean at home and reuse? They are marginally better than the type I civil masks when clean and fitted properly. The problem is that apathy and a false sense of security lead people to disregard the hygiene aspect of their masks. Reusable masks are rarely cleaned and are a breeding ground for mold and bacteria. While no studies have been performed to validate illness caused by breathing a mask with mold or bacteria, studies have been done by 3M on the increased inhalation of CO2, as the wearer is breathing in less oxygen. The reason studies for illnesses like bacterial pneumonia and hypoxia are not available for mask wearers is because the need to have such data has been low prior to COVID-19. It will be interesting to see the long term effect of mask wearing on people as the years progress.
So, what is my responsibility to a fellow believer when it comes to mask wearing? First, if another believer wants to wear a mask we should respect their decision. Second, if they request that we wear a mask when in their presence we have to decide whether we want to acquiesce to that request. Out of respect for the other person we may choose to wear a mask, but the decision is ours to make. If we decline to wear a mask and the other person refuses to be in our presence because of that, then we should respect that decision. Many people have genuine fear and anxiety about COVID-19 and believe that wearing a mask offers real protection. Arguing with them about the efficacy of mask wearing is pointless. Both parties can become pharisaic over this issue.

Sure thing, here is the post.can you repost that link
Sure Nonpharmaceutical Measures for Pandemic Influenza in Nonhealthcare Settings—Personal Protective and Environmental Measures
This study is about influenza but the way the two are spread are almost identical.
But here is a quote of note from the article:
Although mechanistic studies support the potential effect of hand hygiene or face masks, evidence from 14 randomized controlled trials of these measures did not support a substantial effect on transmission of laboratory-confirmed influenza.
It is not a lie. It is an observation. Pharisaic Christians should repent of their prideful unwillingness to care about others as they demand their individualism and "freedom" to do whatever they want. The lack of love for others is obvious. This is a flat out lie and you should repent.
Lets hold you to your own standards. It is not a lie. It is an observation. Pharisaic Christians should repent of their prideful unwillingness to care about others as they demand their individualism and "freedom" to do whatever they want. The lack of love for others is obvious.
You can repent now...

Please stop driving vehicles. It aggravates my asthma. If you don’t stop driving, you are an uncaring Pharisee that doesn’t love Christian brethren and puts them at risk for a fatal asthma attack. Stop being selfish. Give up the car.
While you are at it, stop using electricity. The emissions from the power plants aggravate my asthma and damage the planet. Millions of people die from this pollution every year.
Please quit being a selfish Pharisee that doesn’t care about others, give up the electricity.
If you don’t give up driving and electricity, your lack of love is obvious.
That’s how your “logic” looks to me.
peace to you
The lie is that it has NOTHING to do with the unwillingness to care about others. It is not a lie. It is an observation. Or a conspiracy theory.Seems you love to call any action/belief that doesn't meet your approval - "un-Christian" or the equivalent!
The government does not have legal authority to mandate things just because they feel like it. The mandates of masks are not law.Has the government mandated that I stop driving vehicles and stop using electricity for the protection of others? If so, does God endorse my non-compliance or am I acting selfishly and unlovingly because I just don't like the mandate.
Your analogy is flawed and of no support to your argument. What some Christians have done is to advocate disobeying God's ordained government, not because the government has ordered them to go against God's commands, but simply because they don't want to. It sends a message to the world that God's people are defiant against the government God has ordained to bring them law and order. It sends the message that God's people are willfully fighting against God and telling God they will not be subject to the authority God has placed before them. It is no different than the Jews who rebelled against Rome and ultimately saw Jerusalem destroyed in 70CE. These Christians are acting like Pharisees.

The vaccine is killing faster than Covid. Look at the govt official vaccine injury reporting.Martin Luther, in dealing with a plague, wrote this:
Others sin on the right hand. They are much too rash and reckless, tempting God and disregarding everything which might counteract death and the plague. They disdain the use of medicines; they do not avoid places and persons infected by the plague, but lightheartedly make sport of it and wish to prove how independent they are. They say that it is God’s punishment; if he wants to protect them he can do so without medicines or our carefulness. That is not trusting God but tempting him. . . .
No, my dear friends, that is no good. Use medicine; take potions which can help you; fumigate house, yard, and street; shun persons and places where your neighbor does not need your presence or has recovered, and act like a man who wants to help put out the burning city. What else is the epidemic but a fire which instead of consuming wood and straw devours life and body? You ought to think this way: “Very well, by God’s decree the enemy has sent us poison and deadly offal. Therefore I shall ask God mercifully to protect us. Then I shall fumigate, help purify the air, administer medicine, and take it. I shall avoid persons and places where my presence is not needed in order not to become contaminated and thus perchance infect and pollute others, and so cause their death as a result of my negligence. If God should wish to take me, he will surely find me, and I have done what he has expected of me and so I am not responsible for either my own death or the death of others. If my neighbor needs me, however, I shall not avoid place or person but will go freely, as stated above. See, this is such a God-fearing faith because it is neither brash nor foolhardy and does not tempt God.”
