Would You Qualify to Immigrate to the USA?

That article is fake news. It quotes The CEO of Twitter who says they have a hard time finding qualified high-skilled engineers within the US and therefore have to recruit immigrants. The article then states that Silicon Valley thrives on this low skilled, cheap foreign labor.

Since when are highly-skilled engineers cheap? The average starting salary for recent electrical engineering grads is $70,000.

Oh yeah-- you calling me a liberal means you've lost the argument.

You should pay more attention to the news and save yourself some trouble. What is going on here is just another attack on Trump for whatever he has done last. Are you part of the crowd that hates Trump? You seem to enjoy making personal remarks.
Save yourself the trouble. I support Trump's proposed new immigration policy. That's hardly an attack.

Actually, in a recent article, a woman was working for Google and was homeless. She couldn't afford rent in silicon valley on her salary at Google. So she was working out of her car.

Yep, the cost of living is astronomical in Palo Alto, Sunnyvale, Mountain View area. Doesn't mean the Google worker in the article was cheap labor. How much did she make?

Well, I found this:

South Bay techie says he saved $100k while living in his truck for 16 months
South Bay techie says he saved $100k while living in his truck for 16 months

Meet The Google Employee Living Out Of A Truck To Save On Rent
Rather than pay sky-high San Francisco Bay Area rent prices, this Googler bought a truck and lives in there instead.
Meet The Google Employee Living Out Of A Truck To Save On Rent

Hmm...he saved $100,000 in 16 months. That is the equivalent of $75,000 annually.

Is that considered cheap labor?

We were born in the Land of Emptiness, and we're on our way to the Heavenly City," they replied.
"Then why did you jump over the wall, instead of coming through the little wooden gate? Don't you know that anyone who climbs in a different way is a thief?"
"It's a long way to the wooden gate," answered Mr. On-the-Surface. "Our people always take this short-cut. They've done it for hundreds of years, so it can't be wrong."
"But it's against the rules."
"It doesn't matter how we got in," said the men.
"If we're in, we're in."
"I walk by the Master's rules; you go your own way," said Christian.

How is it an attack on Trump when it is Trump's policy?

Stockholders have gotten richer since Trump took office yet no matter what Trump says or does, the Democrats daily attack Trump. Hillary lost because she is a liar but she is going to run again in 2020 if she does not become a Methodist preacher first. Trump was merely the lesser of two evils. If you think that Trump is a bad, wait until you get that worthless pro-homosexual Mike Pence.

Would you please link a valid story which backs up the Veeps stand on homosxuals?

I am talking about what he did in Indianapolis when he caved to the tens of thousands of homosexuals who live downtown Indianapolis and threatened to riot unless he withdrew support for the legislation to protect Christians from h@omosxual lawsuits in the cases of bakeries, etc.

Pence caved for no good reason--here is a rundown of what happened. Maybe you think that he only bowed to political expediency? I am surprised that you don't remember it.

Before he was Trump's running mate, Mike Pence led the anti-LGBT backlash

Where, oh where is there a mention of withdrawing support of legislation to protect Christians, mention of bakeries in this article?
I did see this:

Governor Mike Pence holds a news conference in Indianapolis on 26 March 2015 after signing into law a religious objections bill that that many saw as condoning discrimination against LGBT people.

and this:

The state’s residents, big business and the rest of the country had quickly turned against Pence for signing into law a religious freedom bill that was interpreted as state-sanctioned discrimination against LGBT people and a bad faith reaction to the legalization of same-sex marriage in Indiana against the governor’s wishes.

and this:

[Pence's] impact of the religious freedom battle lingers, and his decades of anti-LGBT attitudes that preceded it remain.

Well, my liberal friend, the legislation was repealed at the Governor's command.

Everyone knows what happened but here is Pence's statement admitting that he called for repeal.

"Last weekend I called upon the Indiana General Assembly to clarify that this new judicial standard would not create a license to discriminate or to deny services to any individual as its critics have alleged. I am grateful for the efforts of legislators, business and other community leaders who came together to forge this clarifying language in the law...."
