Technically, deliberately targeting civilian populations is a tactic that has almost universally failed to achieve military victory. The best example being Germany attacking population centers to exterminate mass civilians in Russia and England, Japan killing mass civilian populations in China, and the Muslim Terrorists attacking civilians to destroy Europe and the United States. Which of those achieved the desired objective rather than solidifying resolve of the resistance and unifying their enemies?Wars have always targeted civilians and always will.
Peace to you
I would think it would not be a good ideal for the President and Congressmen to go into combat......On the subject of a “just war”, I think nobody should support any war where you are advocating sending OTHER PEOPLE to die for you. If you are not willing to fight, then your opinion is irrelevent.
I struggle with the self defense argument.Candy said: "Many disagree that killing is acceptable for Christians."
IF I had a weapon with me - and someone was shooting at my family - I would fire back - even if I killed him!
That is acceptable killing! Biblical and otherwise
