LOL..The one in Shelbyville is selling Tyson off brands. We got a big bag of leg quarters for $3.90. Gonna cut them up today. Hope THEY taste like chicken. If not, they'll hear about it, believe me!

I love the Perdue chicken. Holly Farms isn't bad either. I think Butterball must feed their chickens the same thing they feed their turkeys because their chicken tastes like turkey. Now I like turkey but when I want CHICKEN.... which is often... I want CHICKEN!

Ah, the temps are dropping and more rain in coming in...supposed to turn to snow tonight. I can see the snow clouds coming in. Man, are they ever hanging low in the sky! In a way, I'm hoping it sticks. In another way, I'm not!

Vivian just called saying she's on her way home from work, and guess what??? There's ice pellets in the rain and a few snowflakes! They're sticking on her windshield!

We love Perdue. Holly Farms here sells some really scrawny chickens, and so does Tyson. But, we have a Tyson plant in Shelbyville, and we have hundreds of chicken houses here in this county that supplies them. In fact, there are some about four roads over.
Perdue is pretty pricey here. For what we pay for that, we can usually get a turkey!

When we were in Cleveland, Ga., there were chicken houses everywhere. Chicken was CHEAP. We used to laugh and say it was the ones that fell over dead from old age. Even they tasted better than the Butterball tho. LOLOL

Perdue is expensive but yummy!

Come on over, Granny! You're always more than welcomed here! We love chicken and eat it several times a week. For us, too, Wal Mart is ONE STOP for most everything we need and at better prices than most of the other places. It just doesn't pay to drive to several different stores, especially when gas is over $1.829 a gallon!

We give tracts to the cashiers. In TN, one can get arrested for leaving items on the shelves, even paper...including coupons! Now, is that crazy, or what?!

I can't get over how much better I am feeling! PTL! I pray it lasts...

I stood at the corner just now in a BLIZZARD! I couldn't even see across the street. Cars were backed up for two blocks in all four directions. I just love to walk out in the middle of the street knowing no one can see me. NOT!

I went to get hubby's license sticker for his truck as it expires tonight. Guess what? They are closed on Monday...

He will have to drive to work illegally and stop and pick them up on his way home tomorrow night. I hope he has to go in at 5:00a.m.. No one will bother him then, the police are all having their donuts at that time of the morning. LOL

I fixed a pork roast in the crock pot (on sale for $1.00 a pound) and I have potatoes on to boil for mashed potatoes. I will throw a salad together and that will be supper.

I can breathe today. I can actually B R E A T H E! You have no idea (or maybe you do) what a relief that is!

Yeah for Sue! That's GREAT news! I'm so very glad you're so much better!

Granny, our Wal-Mart must hire every homosexual within 200 miles. Eek! I worked there for 3 months at night a few years back and it was horrible. I've never, ever been around such people. I started a Bible study with some ladies and a man approached us who worked in another area. He was a preacher in a tiny church. He took over and some men joined us. We held it during our supper time. Boy could we clear out the lunch room quick!

People just don't like having the Light shined on 'em...they'll scatter like cockroaches, eh? I've heard that Wal*Mart is a sodomite store...sorry to say, that's become the American Way now.

That is so true! Even the assistant managers, except for one. He was a wonderful Christian man and rotated to nights while I was there. I enjoyed talking with him about the Lord. He's no longer there. :( He wore pins on his shirt showing he was a Christian and pro-life.

Hey ya'll.

I've lit for just a minute, then back to work. I've cleaned today but haven't made a good dent in this house.

I gotten to where I hate Walmart more and more everyday. I rarely buy meat there since they went to the prepackaged stuff. Every now and again I'll find a piece I like, but not often. I get my meat and a good many of my fresh veggies from a local store. They still cut their own meat from local sources. And they will cut and grind to order.

Like the others here, though, on most things Walmart has the best prices. With five in the family and two special diets, I don't have much choice but shop there.

Ours is in the midst of replacing their shelving. Now tell me just why it has to be done during the day? No telling what else they have planned. No self checkouts here, yet..... I want to know just how they plan on keeping people from just pretending to check out their items? Oh well, that is Walmart's problem.

As for the sodomites, only one works at Walmart.(at least that I see regularly) The rest work for the school system. Precious' art teacher is flaming gay. We've had to have some deep discussions about him.....

He was a token. They don't want the conservatives to speak out. There are many Christians who work for Wally World. Unfortunately, WMart is not looking out for them as whole. What they are doing, is accepting the worlds values, and looking out for themselves. What would Sam think?

Sam would be rolling over in his grave over so many issues that have come up since his death.

Remember when Walmart meant American made? And all the American made stuff had big tags identifying it as such? No more......

Back in the 70s when I was in Jr. High, it was discovered that one of the teachers was gay. He got fired. Too bad that wouldn't happen now . .

The school system here is full of gays also. That's why I am homeschooling Brent!

When I was in high school (early sixties) we had a Lesbian P.E. teacher! All the girls had to strip and take showers with her watching.

Brent and I are going to play a few games of "Phase 10" and then we are going to read ourselves to sleep.

Pleasant dreams all!

I work with a few homosexuals. They assume I hate them. Not true. A man came with a woman to our office from out of town. He's gay and her name was Gaye. I walked into the conference room and said "Gaye?" He replied, "Over here!" I bet he does that everywhere he goes.

Nor did I expect it to.

Here's an example more specifically of what I was talking about. I know a number of people, who without kids, will stop by after work at Walmart for one or two things. The whole process will easily take them an hour. Process repeated up to several times weekly. If they went to Homeland or Walgreen's they could park right in front of the door and be in and out in ten minutes max.
Then they complain about how they don't have very much time in the evenings.
I've just never figured out why they don't figure it out!

That's true Karen, it can be so much faster to go to a 'Grocery Store', but we seem drawn to Wal-Mart by some irresistible pull . . . . . . .
