I do not use the OT to prove the fact that we are saved by His life BF.

Paul has stated that clearly in verses that you have even posted and yet you deny this biblical truth.

1Co 15:17 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.

Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies of God, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life!

Rom 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Note it does not say anywhere that we are saved by Christ in the cross or in the grave.
The OT is scripture Paul used to preach the Gospel according to scripture. What scripture is Paul referring to here 1 Cor 15:3

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

The OT is scripture Paul used to preach the Gospel according to scripture. What scripture is Paul referring to here 1 Cor 15:3

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

1Co 15:3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
1Co 15:4 that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

It is not certain to what parts of the Old Testament Paul here refers as he did not quote it. He teaches simply that the doctrine is contained there that the Messiah would die for sin.

He could have been thinking of Isa 53:1-12 but whatever text he was thinking of it does not say Christ's death saves us.

But Paul does give us clear text that shows we are saved by His life.

Rom 5:10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

Rom 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;

I do, Im a preacher of it. Im sharing bible Truth with you, and you seem to reject it one way or the other. How were these believers perfected forever ? Heb 10:14

14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

Through faith in the risen Christ Jesus.

If, as you say, you preach than you should have know this BF.

What you are sharing is your calvinist philosophy not biblical truth.

Well if we go by your theory BF then since Christ's death saves then everyone is saved.
Heb 10:10 By this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Two points: Firstly, the words "for all" are in italics in the KJV and in the NKJV, which means they have been added by the translators, and do not translate any particular Greek words fro the original. Secondly, "once for all," or "once and for all" is a phrase used in English to mean "completely and finally."

It is not certain to what parts of the Old Testament Paul here refers as he did not quote it.

Doesnt matter, he used OT scripture. All the OT scripture testify of Christ Lk 2447

And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

Stephen preached Christ from Isaiah and God blessed him with a convert Acts 8:29-35

29 Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.

30 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?

31 And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

32 The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:

33 In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.

34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?

35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

And that passage is primarily about His Death as the Lamb.

He could have been thinking of Isa 53:1-12 but whatever text he was thinking of it does not say Christ's death saves us.

What does by His stripes we are healed mean Isa 53:5

5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

One commentator writes of this scripture

With his stripes we are healed; by his sufferings we are saved from our sins, and from the dreadful effects thereof.

Isaiah 53:5 Commentaries: But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed. Matt Poole

Secondly, "once for all," or "once and for all" is a phrase used in English to mean "completely and finally."

Two points: Firstly "for all" are not in italics in the ABP, BSB, NASB, NET, NRSV, TRi, UASV etc but we find "once for all" which is also how the Greek word [ ἐφάπαξ Ephapax ] G2178 can be translated. The use of "once for all" is also biblically supported by 1Jn 2:2 "and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world." Joh 3:16-17, Rom 3:25, Heb 2:17 etc.

Secondly, correct the the death of Christ covered the sins of all humanity as you pointed out "once for all," or "once and for all" which is complete and final but we are saved by His life as Paul takes pains to make clear in Rom 5:10 "For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life."

God gave proof of His love by having Christ die in the place of man “while we were still sinners.” Rom 5:8 Because of the sinner’s response "we have access by faith" Rom_5:2 to Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, God has declared him righteous.

BF's error is that he says we are saved by the Death of Christ with no requirement of faith in the risen Christ. We see BF's view in many of his posts example Post # 87 He presents vs 3 the gospel message and neglects vs 4.

Thats only the saved. If Christ is our Propitiation, thats Salvation. You cant apply those verses to the unsaved. Not unless you are a universalist and say all will eventually be saved.

If Christ death perfects forever them He died for, yet some people will go into hell for their sins, How in Gods Creation did Christ die for them Duh

BF you are reading your religion onto the bible.

That you cannot even understand the verses that you have posted in shocking to say the least.

You have posted Rom 5:10 more than once and yet you still fail to grasp or accept the clear words the Paul has written.
Rom 5:10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

The answer to your question is right there in clear text BF.
You are letting your religion cloud your vision BF. All of humanity is in view here, we are all sinners/enemies of God and we were all reconciled to Him through Jesus at the cross, but you drop the ball when you ignore our means of salvation, faith in the risen Christ.

What does by His stripes we are healed mean Isa 53:5

5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

One commentator writes of this scripture

Isaiah 53:5 Commentaries: But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed. Matt Poole

What a commentator writes is not scripture, we can find them useful but they do not replace the word of God.

But even the quote you gave from Poole does not help you BF. The reconciliation of God by the death of Christ does not save anyone BF but it does make man saveable. Those that will respond in faith to the gospel message will be saved.
See Rom 5:1-2, Rom 10:9-10, Rom 10:13 or a verse that you have posted more than once Rom 5:10.

But your faith doesnt believe Jesus Death saved anyone. Your faith is in your faith that saved you, not the Blood of Jesus

BF where do you come up with this those crazy ideas?

The bible is clear that we are saved by faith in the resurrected Christ.

Your religious view has a select group saved prior to them ever hearing or believing the gospel message. That is not biblical but it is calvinism.

The bible is quite clear on this BF and for someone that claims to preach you should know this. We are save by the grace of God because we have believed in His risen son.

Our faith does not save us but we are saved because we believe.
Rom 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
Rom 10:10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

You are letting a philosophy birthed from pagan religious ideas in the 4th century inform you as to what the bible means.

Thats only the saved. If Christ is our Propitiation, thats Salvation. You cant apply those verses to the unsaved. Not unless you are a universalist and say all will eventually be saved.

There you go denying clear scripture again BF.

Propitiation is not salvation BF, that is why the bible tells us that Christ did that for the whole world.

You have to ignore words or change the meaning of words in order to fit your religion into the bible.
